still learning...

Postby Torahwoman » 02 Nov 2007, 16:42

Shalom, all...

i would like to share a poem YaHUaH gave me only a few moments ago....

Scum i was, and a tyrant of pride,
i did not know the wretch inside;
But YaHUaH looked down at my filthy state,
said, "I can clean this, a new heart to create,"
So He sent His Son to this patch of earth
to show me i was of many sparrows' worth,
To cleanse me, purge me, and guide me in His Way;
Without Him i would not be alive today.
Through my faltering steps, this tiny little grain
works toward Life in YaHUaH's Great Reign.

Shalom, all :)

Yahuah, our Awesome Elohim, gave this to me only moments ago tonight. ...
it was like i could feel something coming from Him possibly a few hours prior to His revealing it,
but i didn't know what the blessing would be.
Here it is, and it begins with one of His jewels i like best -- Psalm 139:1 :

"O Yahuah, You have searched me and know me."

O my Elohim,
You caused me to come into existence,
You led me through a wilderness
where no light of day shone upon me.
For months,
You protected me, nourished me, comforted me,
then by Your lovingkindness
You delivered me.
And so my eyes saw light.

As i grew, my being stumbled
through another darkened land.
Still nourishing, still guiding,
Your Right Hand reached out to me ---
You delivered me; my eyes did see Your Light.

Have i reached maturity? You, alone, can tell.
So far a distance to Your reign,
but a darkened road no more;
and Your promise, i hold close to me,
that i'll never be alone.
As long as i am true to You,
You shall deliver me;
for, O my Elohim,
You have searched and do know me.
Let me always give You praise,
to live forever with Your Light.

All esteem, honour and praise to YaHUaH Most High !

This is beautiful.

I can relate, as I shared with you.

Dear Torah Woman,

You are a talented lyricist! Your poems are inspiring me to set them to music and sing them!
