"THE GLORIOUS SABBATH IN THE MYSTERIOUS SANCTUARY"

All of us have had only a surface understanding of truth, for too long. We have not dug into the mines of truth, as the Saviour admonished us, What a promise!! Yet we don't take hold of it.

"Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you, for he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened." What a promise!!

This is particularly true regarding the subject of the glorious Sabbath in the mysterious Sanctuary. God gave William Miller a symbolic glimpse of the glory of the advent truths to unfold in the future, as recorded in Early Writings, p.81-83. First, he was shown a small casket --"10 inches long x 6 inches square. To the casket there was a key attached. I immediately took the key and opened the casket, when, to my wonder and surprise, I found it filled with all sorts and sizes of jewels, diamonds, precious stones, and gold and silver coin of every dimension and value, beautifully arranged in their several places in the casket; and thus arranged they reflected a light and glory equaled only to the sun."

This casket, itself, represented the fulfillment of the 2300 year prophecy (the prophetic 2300 days), in the 1844 setting. The treasures in it were the precious points of truth connected with the Advent movement of the 1840s--the cleansing of the sanctuary on October 22, 1844, the commandment going forth to "restore and build" Jerusalem, Messiah being cut-off in the midst of the 70th week of years, connecting the prophecies of Moses to the 2300 day prophecy by the fulfillment of the Jubile prophecy of Isaiah 61:1, 2, when the Messiah, on the Sabbath Day of Atonement stood up and read the Jubile prophecy of Isaiah in the synagogue, the fulfillment of the Passover, the glorious revelation of the true Lamb of God, the Wave-Sheaf offering, the fullfilment of the Day of Pentecost, the stoning of Stephen marking the end of the 70th week of years--the end of the Jewish dispensation (the corporate religon under the Jews) and the beginning of the "Times of the Gentiles".

In this prophetic setting, all the jewels, the vast truths of the plan of salvation, were announced in the "Midnight Cry-Behold, the Bridgegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him!" E.G. White states in a number of places, that the prophecy of Jesus, "Behold the Bridgegroom cometh,..." was fulfilled in that movement from 1840-1844. She, also states, that "the judgment sat, and the books were opened," in relation to the great Day of Atonement, October 22, 1844, in perfect harmony with all the Bible prophecies.

Now, we have an intervening time when all the people are examining that casket, taking out the precious jewels from their setting, and scattering them and trampling upon them with their feet, mixing dirt and rubbish with them and finally tearing apart this beautiful casket itself, and scattering it in the rubbish. But that is not the end of the dream, nor the end of history. There is much, much, more to this story. Please read the rest in Early Writings, page 81-83.

There is another casket--MUCH LARGER and MORE BEAUTIFUL--than the first. The jewels and beautiful gems and coins are the same as in the original casket. The man who swept the rubbish and dirt out of the room, placed all of these jewels and coins in this larger casket. And in their new setting they shone with 10 times their former glory, which is 10 times brighter than the sun!

WHAT MAKES THESE SAME JEWELS SHINE 10 TIMES BRIGHTER THAN IN THE FIRST CASKET?? IT IS NONE OTHER THAN "THE GLORIOUS SABBATH IN THE MYSTERIOUS SANCTUARY", "proclaiming the Sabbath more fully" during the Loud Cry of the third angel.

I believe the first casket was the setting of the 2300-years and all the other truths (jewels) were set within it. This prophecy included the "command to restore and build Jerusalem", the 69 weeks, the middle of the week of years, the 70 weeks, the cleansing of the sanctuary on the Day of Atonement, which ended that prophetic period. The Jubile was also applied to that setting, pointing to the nearness of the second coming of Jesus.

I believe the second casket is the end-time message amplifying all these same truths, only more perfectly exemplified with the 10 commandment Law of God, particularly, the glorious holy Sabbath as it pertains to the Sanctuary. This is the Latter Rain truth, "proclaiming the Sabbath more fully" at the time of the Loud Cry, as Ellen White says. The following statement attests to this fact:

"I saw that we sensed and realized but little of the importance of the Sabbath, to what we yet should realize and know of its importance and glory. I saw we knew not what it was yet to ride upon the high places of the earth and to be fed with the heritage of Jacob. But when the refreshing and latter rain shall come from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His power we shall know what it is to be fed with the heritage of Jacob and ride upon the high places of the earth. Then shall we see the Sabbath more in its importance and glory. But we shall not see it in all its glory and importance until the covenant of peace is made with us at the voice of God,..." 3 Selected Messages, p. 260, 261. E. G. White

It is imperative that we understand the relationship of the shadowy Sabbaths in the Sanctuary as they apply to the seventh-day Sabbath, in order for us to understand the "unfolding" of the Sabbath truth (the Latter Rain truth).

The importance of the Sabbath is obscured in most versions of the Bible, intentionally. The best version that I have found, is the original 1611 King James' Version of the Bible. All the words "Sabbath" are written with a capital "S" as follows the rules of the English language. The later King James' Versions have diminished the glory of the Sabbath by writing all the words "Sabbath" with a small "s" in contradiction to the established rules
of English writing.

The explanation by Jesus of the truths that animated the disciples on the road to Emmaus, will result in this Latter Rain truth when understood by God's people today. Jesus, began at Moses (the Sanctuary) and all the prophets, and expounded in all the Scriptures, the things concerning Himself. But there were many things that Jesus couldn't tell them, because they would not be able to bear it.

I would like to explain what I have found in the significance of the Sabbath in the Sanctuary services, but that would be very lengthy, so I will do it later if you would like.

It appears that it may take 4 or 5 lengthy emails for me to show sufficient evidence to do justice to this important study.

It is wonderful when brethren have an open mind and are able to discuss the "meat" of the Word without prejudice. Jesus prayed for that unity among all of us. I'll start with a few inspired statements as an introduction to this grand theme, the "Glorious Sabbath in the Mysterious Sanctuary".

"All the ceremonies of the Jewish law were prophetic, typical of mysteries in the plan of redemption." 6BC 1095.5 E.G.White

"The significance of the Jewish economy is not yet fully comprehended. Truths vast and profound are shadowed forth in its rites and symbols. The gospel is the key that unlocks its mysteries. Through a knowledge of the plan of redemption its truths are opened to the understanding. Far more than we do, it is our privilege to understand these wonderful themes. We are to understand the deep things of God." Christ's Object Lessons, p. 133.

"The whole system of types and symbols was a compacted prophecy of the gospel, a presentation in which were bound up the promises of redemption." Acts of the Apostles, p. 14

"That which was type and symbol to the Jews is reality to us." Christ's Object Lessons, p. 317



The best way to understand the Sabbath in the sanctuary is to let Jesus teach it to us the way He taught it to Moses, and later, the way He taught it to His disciples at His first advent. His teaching shows that the annual Sabbaths were prophecies of seventh-day Sabbaths.

Jesus laid out the seven annual feasts in the sanctuary system to be calculated from the new moon of the first month and from the new moon in the seventh month (Lev. 23). Jesus specified exactly 52 days for the spring feasts (Passover to Day of Pentecost) starting on the 14th day of the first moon month in spring. He also told Moses that there were exactly, and, precisely, 22 days for the fall feasts (Feast of Trumpets to the Feast of Tabernacles) starting on the 1st day of the seventh moon month.

The main Jewish calendar (Orthodox) today, abides by this exact reckoning of 52 and 22 days for the annual feasts.

The seven annual feasts are: (1) Passover, (2) Unleavened Bread, (3) Wave Sheaf, ( 4) Day of Pentecost, (5) Feasts of Trumpets, (6) Day of Atonement, (7) Feast of Tabernacles. The first four feasts occur in spring and the three remaining occur in the fall.

Many of us have wrongly classified all seven of the annual feast days as annual Sabbaths, rather than accepting the plainly illustrated teaching of Jesus to Moses, on which feast days are actually Sabbaths. Passover, Wave Sheaf and Pentecost were not designated as annual Sabbaths by Jesus.


There are twelve Sabbaths specified within the annual feast day setting in Leviticus 23 (must use the King James' Version, preferably 1611 edition), besides the seventh-day Sabbath.

Jesus taught Moses and His disciples the prophecy that Passover occurs a day before
a Sabbath and that the Wave Sheaf offering occurs on the third day from Passover, "on the
morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it." (Lev. 23:11, original 1611 edition, King James' Version)

Jesus said,
"Thus it is written, & thus it behoved Christ to suffer, & to rise from the dead the third day: " (Luke 24:46 original 1611 edition, King James' Version)

"The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain
upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (for that Sabbath day was an high day,)" John 19:31,
(original 1611 edition, King James' Version)

Whenever an annual Sabbath comes on the seventh-day Sabbath, it is termed an "high day". In
A.D. 31, the day after Passover was a seventh-day Sabbath. In the ritual service this day was also
an annual Sabbath. All the annual feast days are scheduled according to the phases of the moon,
therefore, in most years this annual Sabbath would not fall on the seventh-day Sabbath. Jesus
knew when His hour was come because all the prophetic annual Sabbaths of the spring of A.D. 31
came on seventh-day Sabbaths as prophesied in Leviticus 23.


Jesus instructed Moses,
"Ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath,
from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall
be complete. Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath, shall ye number
fifty days,..." Lev. 23:15, 16 (original 1611 edition, King James' Version)

From Jesus teaching we can clearly see that the Day of Pentecost (the last spring
feast) comes on the morrow after the seventh Sabbath.

"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled
all the house where they were sitting." Acts 2:1, 2 (original 1611 edition, King James' Version)


Leviticus 23:4-22 is an exact prophecy of how the feast days, Passover, Unleavened Bread,
Wave Sheaf, and Pentecost, would fulfill and which days of the week they would fall on when the time
came for them to be fulfilled at the first advent, including eight of the annual Sabbaths
occurring on seventh-day Sabbaths, The remaining four annual Sabbaths are found in the
fall feast days and relate to the second advent.

"These types were fulfilled, not only as to the event, but as to the time. On the
fourteenth day of the first Jewish month, the very day and month on which for
fifteen long centuries the Passover lamb had been slain, Christ, having eaten
the Passover with His disciples, instituted that feast which was to commemorate
His own death as "the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."
That same night He was taken by wicked hands to be crucified and slain.
And as the antitype of the wave sheaf our Lord was raised from the dead
on the third day, "the first fruits of them that slept," a sample of all the resurrected
just, whose "vile body" shall be changed, and "fashioned like unto His glorious body."
Verse 20; Philippians 3:21. Great Controversy, p. 399.

"In like manner the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the
time pointed out in the symbolic service." Great Controversy, p. 399, 400.

This brings us to the feast days or types relating to the second advent.
We'll study them in the next email.

Speaking of the feast days which occurred in the spring relating to the first advent, Passover, Unleavened Bread, Wave Sheaf, and Pentecost, Ellen White writes,

"These types were fulfilled, not only as to the event, but as to the time....." Then continuing she writes, "In like manner the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service." Great Controversy, p. 399, 400. E.G. White

The "manner" in which the types which relate to the first advent were fulfilled, is that they were fulfilled in 52 literal days of time with each one of the annual Sabbaths in them occurring on the seventh-day Sabbath. Each event that the ritual services typified, happened in reality at the exact time just as Jesus told Moses that they would.

The phrase, "In like manner", means, then, that these second advent types represent specific events at specific times, exactly as Jesus taught them to Moses and to His disciples. All four of the annual Sabbaths in these types must occur on seventh-day Sabbaths and must be fulfilled in their twenty-two days of literal time. Each event that they typified must occur on the actual
day that the rituals were performed

These feasts were all observed in the fall during the seventh month which ended the sacred year, in late September or October of our present calendar, and in a twenty-two day setting. The first one, the Feast of Trumpets, occurred on the first day of the seventh month, (the seventh new moon). The new moon was determined by the first visible sliver of the moon seen with the naked eye, in the sky over Israel. Observed by the blowing of trumpets, this feast announced the solemnity of the coming Day of Atonement. On the tenth day of this seventh month came the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), the judgment day. This was the designated day for the cleansing of the sanctuary. On the fifteenth day of this same month, was the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles. This feast continued for eight days, ending on the twenty-second day of the month. All Israel were to leave their homes to live in leafy shelters for the duration of the eight days of the Feast of Tabernacles.

All of these feast days were designated as Sabbaths, the Feast of Trumpets--Sabbath, Day of Atonement--Sabbath, first day of the Feast of Tabernacles--Sabbath, and the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles--Sabbath.

Please take note that in the following texts the first phrase stands out very noticably, Jesus teaching Moses the prophecies.

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, ...." Leviticus 23:23, 24 (original 1611 edition King James' Version)

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Also on the tenth day of this seventh month, there shall be a day of atonement,....It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath." Leviticus 23:26, 27, 32. (original 1611 edition King James' Version)

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord....on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath." Leviticus 23:33, 34, 39. (original 1611 edition King James' Version)

Contrasting the 52 days of the feasts occurring in the spring, only the day after Passover, which was the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, was specifically designed and illustrated to be a Sabbath. The other feasts, such as Passover, Wave Sheaf and Pentecost, were designed to occur either on a day before the Sabbath, as was Passover, or on a day "after the Sabbath", as with Wave Sheaf and Pentecost.

In the fall feasts in any year when the first feast day, the Feast of Trumpets, comes on a seventh-day Sabbath, the first day and the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles, also fall on a seventh-day Sabbath. How then can the Day of Atonement come on a seventh-day Sabbath as specified in Jesus' teaching to Moses? The reason is that the fall feast days have very special significance in two specific years, beyond the annual significance of the yearly service. These two years are, the Sabbatical year and the Jubile year in this exact sequence. This will be explained in greater detail a little later.

The spring feasts and the fall feasts, those calculated from the first month of the year and those
calculated from the seventh month, have, at least, two things in common:

(1) They both occur every year without exception.

(2) The annual Sabbaths within them are all governed by the new moon.

When the new moon of the first month or the new moon of the seventh month, comes on the seventh-day Sabbath, then, all of the annual Sabbaths (seven of these Sabbaths being used to calculate the Day of Pentecost) of either the spring feasts or of the fall feasts, occur on the seventh-day Sabbath.

The Day of Atonement, because of its placement in the seventh month, on the tenth day, is the only annual Sabbath that cannot come on the seventh-day Sabbath in the same years when all the other fall feast days ocurr on the seventh-day Sabbath.The fall feasts differ from the spring feasts in that they are designed by Jesus to be fulfilled in two specific consecutive years, the seventh Sabbatical year and the year of Jubile. In this way all four of the annual Sabbaths in the fall feasts would occur on the seventh-day Sabbath. Jesus, specifically, reserved the Sabbath Day of Atonement to usher in the two great Jubilees, at the time of their fulfillment. (These two Jubilees will be explained further as we continue.)

Just as the days of the week end with the Sabbath day, so the years were marked in weeks, ending with a Sabbatical year, also called the year of release (Deuteronomy 31:10). Then, every set of Sabbatical years was marked in weeks, again, ending with the seventh Sabbatical year which was the 49th year. The very next year, after the 49th year, was the great year of Jubile, the 50th year, the culmination of the ritual Sanctuary system. This was also the year of a new beginning, which was the first year of the next set of seven years. Thus the Jubile year never displaced the perpetual weeks of years. The cycle of seven in God's calendar, whether with days or years or weeks of years was never interrupted or disturbed.

"At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release." Deuteronomy 15:1 (original 1611 edition King James' Version)

"But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the Lord:.... And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the Jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land...A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you:" Leviticus 25:4, 8,9, 11, (original 1611 edition King James' Version)

After "seven sabbaths of years," "seven times seven years," came that great year of release--the jubilee. "Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound . . . throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family." Leviticus 25:9, 10. PP 533.2

"On the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement," the trumpet of the jubilee was sounded. Throughout the land, wherever the Jewish people dwelt, the sound was heard, calling upon all the children of Jacob to welcome the year of release. On the great Day of Atonement satisfaction was made for the sins of Israel, and with gladness of heart the people would welcome the jubilee." PP 533.3

"As in the sabbatical year, the land was not to be sown or reaped, and all that it produced was to be regarded as the rightful property of the poor. Certain classes of Hebrew slaves--all who did not receive their liberty in the sabbatical year--were now set free. But that which especially distinguished the year of jubilee was the reversion of all landed property to the family of the original possessor..." PP 533, 534.

An earlier paragraph mentioned the two specific years in which the Day of Atonement of the fall feasts has extra special significance, the Sabbatical year and the year of Jubile.


(1) THE FALL FEASTS IN THE SABBATICAL YEAR

(A) In the Sabbatical year a release was made on the Day of Atonement, release from debt obligation and from slavery for a certain class of Hebrew slaves.

(B) The feast of Tabernacles had additional rituals to be observed in the Sabbatical year only, that were not required in any other years. Moses gave the people this instruction which he had received from Jesus,

"At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of Tabernacles. When all Israel is come to appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this Law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the Lord your God, and observe to do all the words of this Law: And that their children, which have not known anything, may hear, and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it." Deuteronomy 31:10-13, (original 1611 edition King James' Version)

Only in the Sabbatical year were these additional requirements made in regard to the observance of the feast of Tabernacles thus showing that God designed the Sabbatical year for the year of the fulfillment of the fall Feasts.

The Day of Atonement has special significance in its fulfllment in the Sabbatical year, but its prime Sabbath fulfillment was reserved for the commencement of the Jubile.

The main fulfillment, however, of the Feast of Trumpets, and also, the first day and the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles must occur in a Sabbatical year when they come on the seventh-day Sabbath.

(2) THE FALL FEASTS IN THE JUBILE YEAR

(A) The Sabbath Day of Atonement is the only fall feast that shows special significance in the year of Jubilee as relating to its fulfillment on this earth, from either the Bible or the writings of E.G. White.

"Certain classes of Hebrew slaves" (PP p. 533) along with all other slaves were set free in the year of Jubile that followed the seventh Sabbatical year.

"But that which especially distinguished the year of jubilee was the reversion of all landed property to the family of the original possessor..." PP 533, 534.

(B) The Jubilee years are portrayed in prophecy and in prophetic history as representing two great events in the plan of redemption, the first day of Christ's public ministry at His first advent, and, also, "the day of vengeance of our God", just before the second advent. According to the prophecy which Jesus gave Moses in Leviticus 23 and 25, the Jubilee must be ushered in on a Day of Atonement and that day must be a seventh-day Sabbath.

This is precisely how Jesus fulfilled the first part of the Jubilee prophecy. In the proclamation of the Jubilee on the Day of Atonement, in the synagogue on the seventh-day Sabbath, Jesus stopped in the middle of the sentence, He was reading from the Jubilee prophecy in lsaiah 61. He closed the book and then proclaimed,

"This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears." Luke 4:27.

The Bible cross-reference to this text in Luke is lsaiah 61 :1 and 2, and then, from lsaiah, the reference is to Leviticus 25, the great Jubilee prophecy. Jesus did not complete the sentence He was reading from lsaiah 61, as the remainder of the Jubilee prophecy did not apply to His first advent. The part of the sentence that He omitted applies to the "day of vengeance of our God': which will be fulfilled just before He returns to earth for the second time.

Josephus, the first century Jewish historian, places A.D. 27 as the historical Jubilee. His placement agrees perfectly with the proclamation Jesus made announcing the Jubilee (Luke 4:16-21). This completely harmonizes with the date of A.D.27 for this event given by the prophet, E.G.White, and recorded in Prophets and Kings, p. 699.

(C) The statement in Early Writing below describes what occurs when the great Jubile begins. Please note that this is not the time of the second coming of Jesus, which takes place some number of days after this time, but we do not know how many days that will be, until the Father speaks the day and the hour of Jesus'second coming at the moment the Jubile commences.

"While the cloud was passing from the Holiest to the East, which took a number of days, the synagogue of Satan worshipped at the saint's feet." Maranaatha, p. 287. E.G. White

"And as God spoke the day and hour of Jesus' coming, and delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth! The Israel of God stood with their eyes fixed upwards, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder! It was awfully solemn. At the end of every sentence, the saints shouted, Glory! Hallelujah! Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God; and they shone with the glory as Moses' face did when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them, for the glory. And when the never ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored God, in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the Beast, and over his Image.
Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I saw the pious slave rise in triumph and victory, and shake off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was in confusion, and knew not what to do; for the wicked could not understand the words of the voice of God. Soon appeared the great white cloud." Early Writings p. 285, 286. E.G. White

"THE GLORIOUS SABBATH IN THE MYSTERIOUS SANCTUARY"
"PROCLAIMING THE SABBATH MORE FULLY"
PART 3


In view of the specific detailed requirements of the fall feast days ("the types relating to the second advent") which Jesus taught to Moses in Leviticus 23, 25 and Deuteronomy 16, and 31, an in-depth examination of the Advent Movement, culminating in the "Midnight Cry" of 1844, must be made, specifically, in light of the requirements for the Sabbatical and the Jubile Years

This "Midnight Cry", "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh! go ye out to meet Him," focused on one of the fall feast days, the Day of Atonement, Tuesday, October 22, 1844, as the time of the return of Jesus to this earth. We must never forget that this "Midnight Cry" is referred to by E.G. White, in "A Word To The Little Flock", p. 14 and in Christian Experience and Teachings of Ellen G. White, p. 57, 58, as the "bright light" at the first end of the path that lightens the way the saints must travel until the time that they hear the voice of God giving them the actual day and hour of Jesus' coming.

"It was not long after the passing of the time, in 1844, that my first vision was given me. I was visiting Mrs. Haines at Portland, a dear sister in Christ, whose heart was knit with mine; five of us, all women, were kneeling quietly at the family altar. While we were praying, the power of God came upon me as I had never felt it before.
I seemed to be surrounded with light, and to be rising higher and higher from the earth. I turned to look for the advent people in the world, but could not find them, when a voice said to me, "Look again, and look a little higher." At this, I raised my eyes, and saw a straight and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the advent people were traveling to the city which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the beginning of the path, which an angel told me was the "midnight cry." [SEE MATTHEW 25:6.] This light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet, so that they might not stumble.
If they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before them, leading them to the city, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and said the city was a great way off, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would encourage them by raising His glorious right arm, and from His arm came a light which waved over the advent band, and they shouted "Alleluia!" Others rashly denied the light behind them, and said that it was not God that had led them out so far. The light behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they stumbled and lost sight of the mark and of Jesus, and fell off the path down into the dark and wicked world below.
Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming." Christian Experience and Teachings of E.G. White, p. 57, 58. (also in Early Writings, p. 14, 15.)

E. G. White's first vision was also printed in the Day Star in which she included some additional details not found in her statement above. Therefore, both statements are quoted.

"While praying at the family altar the Holy Ghost fell on me and I seemed to be rising higher and higher, far above the dark world. I turned to look for the Advent people in the world, but could not find them, when a voice said to me, Look again, and look a little higher. At this, I raised my eyes and see a strait and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the Advent people were traveling to the City, which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the first end of the path, which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry. This light shone all along the path and gave light for their feet so they might not stumble. It was just as impossible for them to get on the path again & go to the City, as all the wicked world which God had rejected. They fell all the way along the path one after another, until we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming. The living saints, 144,000, in number, know and understand the voice, while the wicked thought it was thunder & an earthquake. When God spake the time, he poured on us the Holy Ghost, and our faces began to light up and shine with the glory of God as Moses did when he came down from Mount Sinai," DS, January 24, 1846 par. 1 by E.G.White

Please note, again, that the "Midnight Cry," "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him," in 1844, is the "bright light" at the beginning of the path, that God's people travel to the Holy City. Referring to the time just before the second coming of Jesus, E.G. White says, "My mind was carried to the future, when the signal will be given. "Behold the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him." This statement was found in the RH, February 11, 1896 par. 6.

These statements clearly show that the "Midnight Cry," pointing to the Day of Atonement on Tuesday, October 22, 1844, has a reapplication, and that it is a prophecy, a forerunner, if you will, of the future final call, when the parable of the ten virgins is repeated.

"This parable has been and will be fulfilled to the very letter, for it has a special application to this time,..." Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, August 19, 1890, E.G. White.

"That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past." Ecclesiastes 3:15.

In light of this dual application of the "Midnight Cry," "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him," there are other aspects of the 1844 movement to which this would also apply. These are prophetic of future events, as well, one of them being the reference to the judgment on the Day of Atonement, "the judgment sat, and the books were opened." In the scripture study of E.G. White's writings on this text, we see that approximately 20% of her statements refer to the Day of Atonement, Tuesday, October 22, 1844, while 80% refer to the future pre-advent judgment, "when the judgment shall sit, and the books shall be opened."

Of this 80%, two specific future judgments are brought to view that apply especially to God's people. The first of these two would involve the judgment of the Church, while the second would concern the individuals living at the time the judgment of the living would begin. A few statements by E.G. White will be given to support this fact.

1. Judgment of the Church:

"In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist church is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages that she has had. If her spiritual experience does not correspond to the advantages that Christ, at infinite cost, has bestowed on her, if the blessings conferred have not qualified her to do the work entrusted to her, on her will be pronounced the sentence: "Found wanting." By the light bestowed, the opportunities given, will she be judged." 8 Testimonies p. 247.2.

"The church will be weighed in the balances of the sanctuary. If her moral character and spiritual state do not correspond with the benefits and blessings God has conferred upon her, she will be found wanting." 5 Testimonies, p. 83.

2. Judgment of the Living Individual:

"When the judgment shall sit, and the books shall be opened, and every man shall be judged according to the things written in the books, then the tables of stone, hidden by God until that day, will be presented before the world as the standard of righteousness. Then men and women will see that the prerequisite of their salvation is obedience to the perfect law of God. None will find excuse for sin. By the righteous principles of that law, men will receive their sentence of life or of death." The Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, January 28, 1909, E. G. White, (1SM 225.2, 1Bible Commentary, p.1109)

There is strong evidence that the future judgment of the living, will, as in 1844, commence on a Day of Atonement, when the sanctuary will be cleansed, at the end of the 2300-day prophecy.

"Because he hath appointed a day in the which he will judge the world...." Acts 17:31.

From the statement by E.G. White that prophetic time ended in 1844, there will never again be a day for a year interpretation of prophecy. The final application of the 2300 day prophecy, reaching to the time when the sanctuary will be cleansed for the living, will be just that, 2300 literal days.

"I saw that they were correct in their reckoning of the prophetic periods; prophetic time closed in 1844," Early Writings, p. 243.

The three angels' messages were given in relation to the 1840-1844 movement with the first angel's message pointing to the hour of God's judgment on the Day of Atonement, October 22, 1844. In light of the following statements, when the first angel's message is repeated, it will again focus attention on a Day of Atonement, "the hour of God's judgment."

" The first, second, and third angels' messages are to be repeated. The call is to be given to the church: 'Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. . . . Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.' Many who went forth to meet the Bridegroom under the messages of the first and second angels, refused the third, the last testing message to be given to the world, and a similar position will be taken when the last call is made."RH, October 31, 1899 par. 12, E.G. White

"The people of God everywhere are to be aroused to co-operate in the great, grand work represented by the first, second, and third angel's messages. This last warning to the inhabitants of the earth is to make men see the importance God attaches to his holy law. So plainly is the truth to be presented, that no transgressor, hearing it, shall fail to discern the importance of obedience to the Sabbath commandment." RH, March 26, 1908 par. 3, E.G. White.

In comparing the specific requirements of the fall feast days, given to Moses by Jesus, Himself, with the actual fulfillment of the judgment at the end of the 2300 years on the Day of Atonement in 1844, we see that the fulfillment of the fall types in 1844 was not a complete fulfillment of the fall types, but, rather a partial fulfillment of one of them, the Day of Atonement. There was no literal fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets or of the eight days of the Feast of Tabernacles. Remember, however, that the "Midnight Cry" of 1844 is the "bright light" at the first end of the path.

As was previously presented in an earlier study,

The fall feasts must be fulfilled in 22 literal days, and this fulfillment must be in a seventh Sabbatical Year, for the Day of Atonement to fall on the seventh-day Sabbath in the following year, the year of Jubile, thus fulfilling the requirement of each of the fall feast days occurring on the seventh-day Sabbath in the two year period of the seventh Sabbatical year and the Jubile year. In 1844, there was no 22 day literal fulfillment of the fall feast days comparable to the 52 day literal fulfillment of the spring feast days in A.D. 31 at the first advent.

The statement by E. G. White, "In like manner the types relating to the second advent, must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service," Great Controversy, p. 399, 400, has not yet been fulfilled.

In 1844, the Day of Atonement fell on Tuesday, October 22. To qualify as a complete fulfillment, the Day of Atonement must be fulfilled on a Monday, in the seventh Sabbatical year, and on the seventh-day Sabbath in the year of Jubile.

The year, 1844, came in the middle of a week of years; therefore, it was neither a Sabbatical year or a Jubile year, as the Jubile year actually occurred in 1840.

The fulfillment of the fall feast days must come at the end of 6000 years of the demonstration of sin. In 1844, the 6000 years were not yet expired. (See E.G. White statements on 6000 years).

"In every age there is a new development of truth, a message of God to the people of that generation. The old truths are all essential; new truth is not independent of the old, but an unfolding of it. It is only as the old truths are understood that we can comprehend the new. When Christ desired to open to His disciples the truth of His resurrection, He began "at Moses and all the prophets" and "expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself." Luke 24:27. But it is the light which shines in the fresh unfolding of truth that glorifies the old. He who rejects or neglects the new does not really possess the old. For him it loses its vital power and becomes but a lifeless form." Christ's Object Lessons, p. 127, 128.

There are only two areas of time in history from 1844, until today, 2007, when all the fall feast days meet all the specifications, as originally outlined by Jesus to Moses, and, later, to His disciples. These two areas would be 1888-1889, and 1986-1987. In examining the first of these two, 1888-1889, we find that 1888 was a seventh Sabbatical year (a 49th year), and 1889 was a Biblical Jubile year.

According to the original calendar, all four of the fall feast days fell on seventh-day Sabbaths within those two years, exactly, as would be required in the fulfilling of prophecy.

Speaking of this time period, E.G. White wrote,

"I saw that Jones and Waggoner had their counter-part in Joshua and Caleb. As the children of Israel stoned the spies with literal stones, you have stoned these brethren with stones of sarcasm and ridicule. I saw that you willfully rejected what you knew to be truth just because it was too humiliating to your dignity. I saw some of you in your tents mincing and making all manner of fun of these two brethren. I also saw that if you had accepted their message we would have been in the kingdom two years from that date, but now we have to go back into the wilderness and there stay forty years." E.G. White, Melbourne, Australia, May 9, 1892.

The second, and last, of these two areas in time, would be the seventh Sabbatical year, (the 49th year) of 1986, and the Biblical Jubile year, (the 50th year), of 1987. These two consecutive years meet every specification for the 49th and 50th years. All four of the fall feast days fell on seventh-day Sabbaths within those two years.

That which gave the Day of Atonement, October 22, 1844, such special significance, was that on this day the longest time prophecy, the 2300 years, had ended. This period had begun with the "going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem" in (457 B.C.), as related in Daniel 9. Similiarly, the Day of Atonement, October 13, 1986, came at the end of 2300 days which had also, begun with the "going forth of a commandment to restore and build Jerusalem". This commandment was passed by the Israeli Knesset, after its introduction by Guela Kohen. This commandment went forth to the whole world via Reuter's International News Agency, based in Europe, on Friday, June 27, 1980. It was picked up the same day by other major news services around the world.

The following quotation is taken from the book, "The End of the Times of the Gentiles", pages 85-88.

"The devastating volcano blast of Mount St. Helens in the U.S.A. on May 18, 1980, and the Dark Day that followed, announced this prophetic fulfillment. This event occurred exactly 200 years after the Dark Day of May 19, 1780, which also had prophetic implications. The next month (after Mt. St. Helens eruption) on Friday, June 27, 1980, Reuters News Agency broadcast over the entire world the law introduced into the Israeli Knesset by Guela Kohen, which was then overwhelmingly passed by the Knesset and became the law of Israel.

The going forth of this commandment to restore and build Jerusalem on June 27, 1980, meets every specification of Daniel 9:25 to be the beginning point of the twenty-three hundred day prophecy, at the end of which judgment would come, or in other words, the sanctuary would be cleansed. This twenty-three hundred day prophecy ended on Monday, October 13, 1986, on the Day of Atonement of that year. And amazingly, 1986 was not only a Sabbatical year, but was a seventh Sabbatical year, the year just before a Jubile, fitting exactly the precise specifications of the prophecies of Moses, including that of the Sabbath for the Feast of Trumpets and the first and eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles. The Day of Atonement came on a seventh-day Sabbath the next year, the Jubile year, (October 3), 1987. The commandment to restore and build Jerusalem by Guela Kohen in 1980, and the Messiah's prophecy in Luke 21:24 are unmistakably linked to the times of the Gentiles. "Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" Luke 21:24.

This commandment which began the literal fulfillment of the twenty-three hundred day prophecy, also began the first seventy weeks of that prophetic period. Seventy weeks or 490 days reaches to October 29, 1981, On that day, amateur archeologist, Tom Crotser, from Winfield, Kansas, found, but did not disturb, the sacred Ark of the Covenant containing the ten commandments. Tom Crotser, led by the information in 2 Maccabees 2, searched for the Ark on Mt. Pisgah where Moses went up to see the inheritance of God.

With his three companions, Tom camped near this peak when during the night, he was given a dream. In the dream he could see through the top of the mountain and was shown the location of the Ark of the Covenant. He woke and informed his three companions of what God had just shown him. After some difficult digging within the tombs, through several passages identified in the dream, they finally broke through into the last room and found the Ark of the Covenant. They took some pictures but did not touch or disturb anything they found.

There is quite a story behind this discovery, which many readers may wish to investigate further, as we will not relate all the details here.

The government of Jordan resealed the entrance to these tombs and posted guards to prevent any further investigation of the site. This event marks the end of the seventy weeks which were allotted to the Gentile churches.

"To finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness.. . " Daniel 9:24." The End of the Times of the Gentiles, p. 85-87.

As the seventy-weeks were ending, there were some profound developments within the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church had applied for their trademark from the Patent office of the United States Federal Government in Washington D.C., which they received the week following the end of the seventy-weeks.

When the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Corporation applied for their Mark (trademark) from the federal government (the beast with lamb-like horns Rev. 13:12), they were issued federal document No. 1177185 on the tenth day of November, 1981. The following is an exact quotation from this federal document:

"This is to certify that the records of the Patent and Trademark Office show that an application was filed in said office for registration of the Mark shown herein, a copy of said Mark and pertinent data from the Application being annexed hereto and made a part hereof, and there having been due compliance with the requirements of the law and with the regulations prescribed....Upon examination, it appeared that the applicant was entitled to have said Mark registered under the Trademark Act of 1946, and the said Mark has been duly registered this day in the Patent and Trademark Office on the Principal Register....I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Patent and Trademark Office to be affixed this tenth day of November, 1981. (Signature appears) COMMISSIONER OF PATENTS AND TRADEMARKS"

(Please note that the word "Mark" is repeated four times and is capitalized in the original document.)

In speaking of "the Mark", a vital statement came to mind from the book by James and Ellen White, "A Word to the Little Flock",

"The work of the second angel, was to show to the advent host that Babylon had fallen. And as a large portion of them did not learn this fact, until the power of the MIDNIGHT CRY waked them up, just in time for them to make their escape from the churches, before the 10th day came on; it follows, that the second angel brought us to the 7th month, 1844. The third angel's message was, and still is, a WARNING to the saints to 'hold fast,' and not go back, and 'receive' the marks which the virgin band got rid of, during the second angel's cry." Following the registration of their "Mark", the Seventh-day Adventist Church commenced litigation through the civil power now at their disposal, filing suit against an 11-member independent group in Hawaii, on April 9, 1987, as one of the first of many such cases to follow.

Corbett, Marik's twangy-voiced Texas attorney, in the Hawaian case, said:

"This has stirred up one of the hottest ruckuses I've ever seen. . . . It's a suit of tremendous import, for if the judgment is not overturned on appeal, it will open the door for mass persecution of one's religion, be it . . . Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu."

These actions by the Seventh-day Adventist Church make more relevant the following statement:

"In order for the United States to form an image of the beast, the religious power must so control the civil government that the authority of the state will also be employed by the church to accomplish her own ends." The Great Controversy, page 443.

When asked from which funds the litigation expenses are paid, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists sent an official letter on their official letterhead, stating:


"April 10, 1989


Mr.


Dear Brother :

Thank you for your recent letters concerning trademarks. Elder Wilson's office asked me to respond.

First, enclosed is a copy of the questions and answers we have released on the question. Perhaps you already have seen it in the January 12 issue of the Adventist Review.

Second, you inquired whether tithe is used to pay church litigation. The treasury informs me that all litigation is paid from the annual appropriation made at the Annual Council, and that appropriation comes from tithe.

How does this "Mark" relate to the three angels' messages? or to the present truth for today?

There are several profound statements from Ellen G. White in regard to the judgment of the "Church". She makes very clear that the "church" goes through to the end victoriously. Some use the words "church" and "Church" interchangeably, without understanding the difference in meaning; however, in legal terms there is a big difference between these two words, "church" and "Church". Look in any corporate law dictionary, or ask any corporate law lawyer.

The word "Church" indicates a legal corporation registered under the laws of the state. If this Church gives government recognized tax-deductible receipts, then it is, also, a 501(c)3 Corporation. All 501(c)3 Corporations are incorporated under "Roman Catholic Canon Law" and are thereby subject to that law, make no mistake about it.

When E.G. White made the following statements, she was referring to a church that had not yet incorporated under the 501(c)3 Corporation.

"In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist church is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages that she has had. If her spiritual experience does not correspond to the advantages that Christ, at infinite cost, has bestowed on her, if the blessings conferred have not qualified her to do the work entrusted to her, on her will be pronounced the sentence: 'Found wanting.' By the light bestowed, the opportunities given, will she be judged." Volume 8, Testimonies For The Church, p. 247.

"He will take His Holy Spirit from the church, and give it to others who will appreciate it....The absence of harmony with God becomes apparent. The light grows dim, goes out; the candlestick has been removed." Review and Herald, July 16, 1895. E.G. White

The Jewish church was given a period of probation to fulfill God's purpose in them. Just so, a time would come when the remnant church would be weighed in the balances of the sanctuary.

"When the Saviour saw in the Jewish people a nation divorced from God, He saw also a professed Christian Church united to the world and the papacy. And as He stood upon Olivet, weeping over Jerusalem till the sun sank behind the western hills, so He is weeping over and pleading with sinners in these last moments of time. Soon He will say to the angels who are holding the four winds, ' Let the plagues loose; let darkness, destruction, and death come upon the transgressors of my law.' Will He be obliged to say to those who have had great light and knowledge, as He said to the Jews, 'If thou hadst known, even thou at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes'?" RH, October 8, 1901 par. 15 E.G. White. (Notice in the original statement, E.G. White spells the word Church with a capital "C".)

The first angel's message points to the judgment, the end of the 2300 days in the prophecy of Daniel 8. In prophetic history, the first part of this prophecy, the 70 weeks, were given to the Jewish nation as the time in which to repent and to bring in everlasting righteousness. They failed to repent and their house was left to them desolate. The sobering fact is that 40 years later, they were destroyed by the Roman armies. There is a lesson in this for us.

Was the Laodicean church given 70 weeks in which to repent?

"NEGLECT TO REPENT AND OBEY HIS WORD WILL BRING AS SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES UPON GOD'S PEOPLE TODAY AS DID THE SAME SIN UPON ANCIENT ISRAEL. THERE IS A LIMIT BEYOND WHICH HE WILL NO LONGER DELAY HIS JUDGMENTS." Volume 4 Testimonies, page 166, 167, E.G. White.

"JERUSALEM IS A REPRESENTATION OF WHAT THE CHURCH WILL BE IF IT REFUSES TO WALK IN THE LIGHT THAT GOD HAS GIVEN." Volume 8 Testimonies, page 67, E. G. White.

"THE DESOLATION OF JERUSALEM STANDS AS A SOLEMN WARNING BEFORE THE EYES OF MODERN ISRAEL, THAT THE CORRECTIONS GIVEN THROUGH HIS CHOSEN INSTRUMENTS CANNOT BE DISREGARDED WITH IMPUNITY." Volume 4, Testimonies, page 167, E.G. White.

"AND THOU, CAPERNAUM SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS WHO HAVE HAD GREAT LIGHT, WHICH ART EXALTED UNTO HEAVEN IN POINT OF PRIVILEGE SHALL BE BROUGHT DOWN TO HELL: FOR IF THE MIGHTY WORKS, WHICH HAVE BEEN DONE IN THEE, HAD BEEN DONE IN SODOM, IT WOULD HAVE REMAINED UNTIL THIS DAY." Review and Herald, August 1, 1893, E.G. White.

Some may find these facts rather shocking, but the Trademark Document # 1177185 was issued by the federal government in the week following the end of the 70 literal weeks from the "going forth" of the commandment from the Israeli Knesset (parliament) to "restore and build Jerusalem" instituted by Guela Cohen, a member of the Israeli Knesset. On Friday, June 27, 1980, this commandment received international news coverage via Europe's largest news agency, Reuters, and was picked up the same day, by many other international news agencies.

Surprisingly, 2300 literal days after,the "going forth" of this commandment the prophecy ends on a Day of Atonement in a Sabbatical year, a seventh Sabbatical year or 49th year, when the fall feast days met every specification, including the prophetic Sabbaths falling on seventh day Sabbaths.

What is God telling us???

Is it time for the first angel's message to be repeated pointing to another 2300 days? What about the second and third angels' messages?

On many forums, people from all churches are already giving the second angel's message, calling people to leave the 501(c)3 corporation Churches.



ANOTHER FUTURE FULFILLMENT FOR THE JUDGMENT OF THE LIVING


In light of the following evidence, there is a future fulfillment yet to take place, of the 2300 day prophecy, and the first angel's message will go with power pointing to the end of this prophecy as the time of the judgment of the living. At that time the following statements from Ellen White will meet their fulfillment at the end of another (the last) 2300 literal days.

"The precious record of the law was placed in the ark of the testament and is still there, safely hidden from the human family. BUT IN GOD'S APPOINTED TIME HE WILL BRING FORTH THESE TABLES OF STONE to be a testimony to all the world against the disregard of His commandments and against the idolatrous worship of a counterfeit Sabbath." 1 Bible Commentary , page 1109, E.G. White.

From this statement we see that God has an appointed time in the future for this event to occur.

"The tables of stone are hidden by God TO BE PRODUCED IN THE GREAT JUDGMENT DAY just as He wrote them." Review and Herald March 26, 1908, E.G. White.

This day, yet to come, would be the day that the first angel's message points to, as the "hour of His judgment", the end of the 2300 literal days, a Day of Atonement in a seventh-Sabbatical year.

Another statement by Ellen G. White points to this future judgment.

"When the judgment shall sit, and the books shall be opened, and every man shall be judged according to the things written in the books, THEN THE TABLES OF STONE, HIDDEN BY GOD UNTIL THAT DAY, WILL BE PRESENTED BEFORE THE WORLD as the standard of righteousness. Then men and women will see that the PREREQUISITE of their salvation is obedience to the perfect law of God. None will find excuse for sin. By the righteous principles of that law, men will receive their sentence of life or of death." Review and Herald January 28, 1909, E. G. White.

Don't tell Eriq, but i kinda had the same reaction. I'm wondering what was the point of that extremely lengty post, which contained numerous quotes by the "Jezebel of Thyatira". I didn't take the time to read it, but noticed these quotes in passing.

I also noticed some reference to "2300 days". If Mrs. White had checked the text, she would have found that it's not "days", it's "evening-mornings", referring to the 2 daily sacrifices, which would make it 1150 days. :mrgreen:

ellen g white has been proven to be a plaigerizer. she made many false prophecies. she is not a prophet of YAHUAH.

I'm sorry that I upset some on this forum. I had mistakenly taken this group to be part of another. I would not have used the quotations from Ellen G. White, if I had realized that some here were unaquainted with her, or that some felt so opposed to her work.

There are a number of organizations who do accept her as a true prophet of God. I think the number may be about 12. Although I am not a part of any of these, I have researched her writings thoroughly. I find them so enlightening, and very inspirational. They remind me so much of our own Jewish prophets' writings. And I feel the same Spirit attending them. Truth is truth wherever it is found. The more I studied these writings, the stronger my convictions became of her divine inspiration. Therefore, I value them highly.

If members of this forum prefer that these writings not be quoted here, I will respect that, and use only Scripture from the Old and New Testaments, as evidence for my theological positions.

Of course they remind you of the prophets! That was chosen's point. She is a plagiarizer.

Probably 1/3 of the world accepts Muhammad as a prophet, that don't make him one.

The fact is, Ellen G. White, took information from others and passed it off as "inspiration" she got from "the Lord" herself. Not only that, I find it hard to believe that YHWH used someone as a prophet who doesn't even know His name, or His Sabbaths, or didn't keep any of the Holy Days, etc...

Several "prophecies" from her writing did not come to pass as she predicted, which is another tell tale sign of a false prophet. And finally, Ellen's writings claim to be directed to the "real" church of God, which she believed was the Seventh Day Adventist movement. That is another clue that her information was not of YHWH.

Hind sight is definitely 20/20.
