gmo's and the kosher laws

i get an email from a kosher site. i decided to ask the owner/author some questions.

Kind Sir,

could you tell me how you feel about genetically modified foods? are they kosher? are they suitable for human comsumption? what do you do about food that is not labled "gmo." most produce sold in america isn't labeled with any kosher symbol.
