One/United Week G1-7

Postby Watchman555 » 05 Mar 2014, 16:56

Dan 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off and have naught.

(Messiah is cut off – impaled – 6th day of the week according to Scripture; 31 ad seems to be the likely year of impalement.)

And the people of A COMING PRINCE shall destroy the city and the set-apart place.”

Remember, this is after the Messiah’s death in 31 ad and the people of this “coming prince” shall destroy the city and the set-apart place. This took place in 70 ad. In Lamentations 2 we find information about this.

Lam2:5 Yahuah has been like an enemy. He has swallowed up Yisra’ĕl, He has swallowed up all her palaces, He has destroyed her strongholds. (Dan 9:26 –destroy the city) And He increases mourning and lamentation In the daughter of Yehuḏah.
Lam 2:6 He has demolished His booth like a garden, He has destroyed His place of meeting. (Dan 9:26 – destroyed the set-apart place) Yahuah has made the appointed times and Sabbaths To be forgotten in Tsiyon, And despises sovereign and priest In His raging displeasure.

At this time the destruction of the Temple in 70 ad Yahuah Himself said that He would cause the appointed times and Sabbaths to be forgotten. (The Forgotten Sabbath

Lam 2:7 Yahuah has cast off His altar, He has rejected His set-apart place, He has delivered the walls of her palaces Into the hand of the enemy. They have made a noise in the House of Yahuah As on the day of an appointed time.
Lam 2:8 Yahuah has planned to destroy The wall of the daughter of Tsiyon. He has stretched out a line. He has not turned back His hand from destroying. And He has made the rampart and wall to lament; Together they have languished.

These verses also suggests this is referring to the 70 ad destruction because of the “wall to lament” was left standing and to this day that wall is revered, even being called the Wailing Wall.

Lam 2:9 Her gates have sunk into the ground. He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her sovereign and her rulers are among the gentiles. The Torah is no more, And her prophets have found no vision from Yahuah.

This is another indication as the gates are sunk into the ground and to this day they are still unearthing them.

I’d like to share an interesting correlation to the destruction of the Temple in 70 ad with the story of Yonah.

Jon 3:3 And Yonah arose and went to Ninewĕh,according to the word of Yahuah. Now Ninewĕh was a great city before Elohim, of THREE DAY’S JOURNEY.
Jon 3:4 And Yonah began to go in to the city on the first day’s walk. And he cried out and said, “YET FORTY DAYS, and Ninewĕh shall be overthrown!”
Jon 3:5 And the MEN OF NINEWĔH BELIEVED IN ELOHIM,and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.

Mat 12:40 “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Aḏam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mat 12:41 “Men of Ninewĕh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Yonah, and look, a greater than Yonah is here.

We might say that Yahusha’s official ministry began at the Feast of Unleavened Bread according to Yahuchanon.

Joh 2:13 And the Passover of the Yehuḏimwas near, and Yahusha went up to Yerushalayim.
Joh 2:14 And He found in the Set-apart Place those selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers sitting.
Joh 2:15 And having made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the Set-apart Place, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the moneychangers’ coins and overturned the tables. (this could be considered a sign/owt/flag )
Joh 2:16 And He said to those selling doves, “Take these away! Do not make the house of My Father a house of merchandise!”
Joh 2:17 And His taught ones remembered that it was written, “The ardour for Your house has eaten Me up.”
Joh 2:18 And the Yehuḏim answered and said to Him,“What sign do You show to us, since You are doing these?”
Joh 2:19 Yahusha answered and said to them, “Destroy this Dwelling Place, and in three days I shall raise it.” (Three days or three years He will raise it)

According to Yahuchanon this is where Yahusha first talks about destroying the dwelling place of His body and in three days He will raise it. Remember as well that this event was also marked by the turning over of the money changers. We know that this event reoccurred at the end of His ministry:

Mat 21:7 they brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their garments on them, and He sat on them.
Mat 21:8 And most of the crowd spread their garments on the way, while others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the way.
Mat 21:12 And Yahusha went into the Set-apart Place of Elohim and drove out all those buying and selling in the Set-apart Place, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves. (This could be considered the second sign/owt/flag)

If we can assume that Yahusha’s ‘official’ ministry lasted three years then let’s go on to compare this to Yonah.

Jon 3:3 And Yonah arose and went to Ninewĕh, according to the word of Yahuah.

Notice it tells us that Nineweh was a “three days journey”; if a day equals a year in prophetic terminology then we can see a similarity with Yahusha’s ministry lasting three years. Or we could say three days and three nights; because He began His official ministry at Passover/Unleavened Bread – the beginning of one year and ending three years later at the beginning of Passover/Unleavened bread; which is approximately three years Yahusha spent preaching the Besorah in the heart of the earth – Yahrushalym; see YiremYahu51:50.

Let’s remember what Yahusha said

Mat 12:40 “For as Yonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the great fish, so shall the Son of Aḏam be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mat 12:41 “Men of Ninewĕh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Yonah, and look, a greater than Yonah is here.

Notice what is said about the men of Nineweh – they repented at the preaching of Yonah and what were the consequences of their repenting? Their city was not destroyed in 40 days. Now if the destruction of Nineweh was going to take place after the three-day warning then notice this:

If Yahusha’s impalement was at the beginning of 31 ad and the destruction of the Temple was in 70 ad then the destruction would have occurred 40 years after Yahusha was impaled after spending three days preaching repentance. What happened was the generation of that day did not repent at the preaching of Yahusha so their Temple was destroyed 40 years later and Yahuah caused them to forget the Sabbath.

Back to Daniel –

Dan 9:26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off and have naught. (impalement 31 ad) And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the set-apart place. (Romans 70 ad) And the end of it is with a flood. And wastes are decreed, and fighting until the end.
Dan 9:27 “AND HE SHALL CONFIRM A COVENANT WITH MANY FOR ONE/UNITED WEEK. (Roman calendar;7-day continual week) AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK HE SHALL PUT AN END TO SLAUGHTERING AND MEAL OFFERING. (Roman calendar shows Messiah’s death was on the 4th day of the ‘week’ in31 ad. ) And on the wing of abominations he shall lay waste, even until the complete end and that which is decreed is poured out on the one who lays waste. (Roman beast continues to the end; toes of iron/clay)

There’s a lot of speculation concerning the “he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week”. The common consensus is that the lawless one is going to make a worldwide peace treaty for 7 years and a temple needs to be built to facilitate the starting of the slaughterings and meal offerings so that this “man” can put an end to them in the middle of this ‘peace treaty’. But looking at this in a different light there is a great possibility that this coming prince established a covenant with many through the common week that we find on the Gregorian calendar. It just so happens that when you trace this week back the impalement falls in the midst of that week. Coincidence? Interesting at the least.
