links for seed (& poultry) catalogs

Postby Torahwoman » 10 Feb 2008, 18:41

Shalom,

just thought i'd share some links, here... i haven't ordered
anything yet, myself, but would like to, especially the heirloom seeds.
i used to have quite a few more catalogs, but some
stopped sending due to lack of order.
i think most of them, if not all, i gained from when i was
in a y'hoo group for homesteading/organic growing, etc.,
nearly a couple years ago now... it was a neat group,
i'd have to do a search to find it again, as i left the group
in my moving around some.

if you email, they ask for patience in waiting for response,
as it could be a long time
They don't accept credit-card orders, and any orders put in
need to be through the mail.

Have any of you started any seeds growing inside ? We planted different seeds, and they are all coming up great. I think we'll have a early spring this year,as we really have had a very mild winter (thank you Yahweh)
So, we're just waiting until the right time, and these plants will go in the ground.

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to make a simple grape harbor?
The area I live in has wild grapes growing every where, and we'd like to try and grow some sweet grapes.
I know very little about growing grapes, and would like to try it. So any help or ideas you can give me about this would be appreciated. :D
