What
the Word Says
1 Timothy 6:3-4
If anyone teaches differently and does not agree to
the sound words, those of our Master Yahusha
Messiah, and to the teaching which is according to
reverence, 4 he is puffed up, understanding none at
all, but is sick about questionings and verbal
battles from which come envy, strife, slander,
wicked suspicions,
We want to be sure that we do
not ever fall into haSatans trap of being labled
someone who teaches differently and does not
agree to the sound Words of our Master Yahusha.
We desperatly want to study to show ourselves
approved to hear the words: “And his master said
to him, ‘Well done, tov and trustworthy
servant." We know that the fruits of the spirit
show belief:
Galatians 5:22 But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, tovness, trustworthiness, 23
gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no
Torah. 24 And those who are of Messiah have impaled
the flesh with its passions and the desires. 25 If
we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the
Spirit.
However, are
there other requirements? And how does the meaning
of the Word apply? Mark 16:15,16 I'm sure we can
all agree that as believers that we must proclaim
the Tov News to every creature, believe in the
only begotten Son of Elohim, and be immersed in
His Name in order to receive deliverance. These
are fundamental requirements, as well as
Wayyiqra 18:4-5 Do My right-rulings and guard My
laws, to walk in them. I am Yahuah your Elohim. And
you shall guard My laws and My right-rulings, which
a man does and lives by them, I am Yahuah.
and
Debarim 12:32 "All
the words I am commanding you, guard to do it -- do
not add to it nor take away from it.
Let us take a
closer examination of the last Words Yahusha spoke
to His emmisaries before ascending to the right
hand of Elohim \o/ HalleluYah\o/
Mark 16:15-17 And He
said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim
the Tov News to every creature. 16 "He who has
believed and has been immersed, shall be saved, but
he who has not believed shall be condemned.

Acts 2:1-4, 6-11:
And when the Day of the Festival of Weeks had
come, they were all with one mind in one place. 2
And suddenly there came a sound from the heaven,
as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the
house where they were sitting. 3 And there
appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and
settled on each one of them. 4 And they were all
filled with the Setapart Spirit and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to
speak. 6 And when this sound came to be, the crowd
came together, and were confused, because everyone
heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they
were all amazed and marvelled, saying to each
other, “Look, are not all these who speak
Galileans? 8 “And how do we hear, each one in our
own language in which we were born? 9 “Parthians
and Medes and Eylamites, and those dwelling in
Aram Naharayim, both Yehudah and Kappadokia,
Pontos and Asia, 10 both Phrygia and Pamphulia,
Mitsrayim and the parts of Libya around Cyrene,
visitors from Rome, both Yehudim and converts, 11
“Cretans and Arabs, we hear them speaking in our
own tongues the great deeds of Elohim.”
Kepha explains:
16 “But this is what was
spoken by the prophet Yo’el:
These Scriptures
also show the gift of prophecy knows no gender, it
is shown here, that the sons and daughters
and male servants and female servants
shall prophesy.
Acts 2:17-21: ‘And
it shall be in the last days, says Elohim, that I
shall pour out of My Spirit on all flesh. And your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your
young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams, 18 and also on My male servants and on
My female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in
those days, and they shall prophesy. 19 ‘And I shall
show wonders in the heaven above and signs in the
earth beneath: blood and fire and vapour of smoke.
20 ‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the
moon into blood, before the coming of the great and
splendid day of YAHUAH. 21 ‘And it shall be that
everyone who calls on the Name of YAHUAH shall be
saved.’
Acts 10:44-48:
While Kepha was still speaking these words, the
Set-apart Spirit fell upon all those hearing the
word. 45 And those of the circumcision who
believed were astonished, as many as came with
Kepha, because the gift of the Setapart Spirit had
been poured out on the gentiles also, 46 for they
were hearing them speaking with tongues and
extolling Elohim. Then Kepha answered, 47 “Is
anyone able to forbid water, that these should not
be immersed who have received the Set-apart Spirit
– even as also we?” 48 And he commanded them to be
immersed in the Name of YAHUSHA Messiah. Then they
asked him to remain a few days.
NOTE: This is
Scriptural proof that one may receive the Gift of
the Set-apart Spirit before that one is immersed.
Acts 19:6: And when
Sha’ul had laid hands on them, the Set-apart Spirit
came upon them, and they were speaking in tongues
and prophesying.
The next
Scriptures here indicate that speaking in a tongue
is closely related to prophecy.
1 Corinthians 12:4-14,
28-31; 13:1-2:And there are different kinds of
gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different
kinds of services, but the same Master. 6 And there
are different kinds of workings, but it is the same
Elohim who is working all in all. 7 And to each one
is given the manifestation of the Spirit for
profiting, 8 for to one is given a word of wisdom
through the Spirit, and to another a word of
knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 and to
another belief by the same Spirit, and to another
gifts of healing by the same Spirit, 10 and to
another operations of powers, and to another
prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, and
to another kinds of tongues, and to another
interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same
Spirit works all these, distributing to each one
individually as He intends. 12 For as the body is
one and has many members, but all the members of
that one body, being many, are one body, so also is
the Messiah. 13 For indeed by one Spirit we were all
immersed into one body, whether Yehudim or Greeks,
whether slaves or released, and we were all made to
drink into one Spirit. 14 For indeed the body is not
one member but many. 28 And Elohim has appointed
these in the assembly: firstly emissaries, secondly
prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles,
then gifts of healings, helps, ministrations, kinds
of tongues. 29 Are all emissaries? Are all prophets?
Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do
all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with
tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly seek the
better gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent
way. 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of
messengers, but do not have love, I have become as
sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have
prophecy, and know all secrets and all knowledge,
and if I have all belief, so as to remove mountains,
but do not have love, I am none at all.
Mishle 12:18: But
the tongue of the wise is healing.
Mishle 15:4: A
healing tongue is a tree of life
Notice here
that the tongue is in direct connection with
healing.
Acts 3:1-9: And
Kepha and Yocanan were going up to the Set-apart
Place at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a
certain man, lame from his birth, was carried, whom
they laid daily at the gate of the Set-apart Place
which is called Yaphah, to ask alms from those
entering into the Set-apart Place, 3 who, seeing
Kepha and Yocanan about to go into the Set-apart
Place, asked for alms. 4 And Kepha, with Yocanan,
looking steadfastly at him, said, “Look at us.” 5
And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive
whatever from them. 6 But Kepha said,
“I do not have silver and gold, but what I do
possess, this I give you: In the Name of
YAHUSHA Messiah of Natsareth, rise up and walk.”
7 And taking him by the right hand he
lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle
bones were made firm. 8 And leaping up, he stood and
walked, and went in with them into the Set-apart
Place, walking and leaping and praising Elohim. 9
And all the people saw him walking and praising
Elohim.
Notice here in
Acts 10:38 that healing can have a direct connection
with the devil:
Acts 10:38:how
Elohim did anoint YAHUSHA of Natsareth with the
Set-apart Spirit and with power, who went about
doing tov and healing all who were oppressed
by the devil, for Elohim was with Him.
1 Corinthians 14:2-33:
For he who is speaking in a tongue does not speak
to men but to Elohim, for no one understands, but
in the Spirit he speaks secrets. 3 But he who is
prophesying speaks upbuilding and encouragement
and comfort to men. 4 He who is speaking in a
tongue builds up himself, but he who is
prophesying builds up the assembly. 5 Now I want
you all spoke with tongues, but rather that you
might prophesy, for he who is prophesying is
greater than he who is speaking with tongues,
unless he interprets, so that the assembly might
receive upbuilding. 6 But now, brothers, if I come
to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit
you unless I speak to you, either. 7 Nevertheless,
lifeless instruments making a sound, whether flute
or harp, if they do not make a distinction in the
sound, how shall it be known what is played on the
flute or on the harp? 8 For indeed, if the trumpet
makes an indistinct sound, who shall prepare
himself for battle? 9 So also you, if you do not
give speech by the tongue that is clear, how shall
it be known what is spoken? For you shall be
speaking into the air. 10 There are, undoubtedly,
so many kinds of sounds in the world, and none of
them iswithout distinct sound. 11 If then I do not
know the power of the voice, I shall be a
foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks be
a foreigner to me. 12 So also you, since you are
ardent for spiritual gifts, seek to excel in the
upbuilding of the assembly. 13 Therefore, he who
is speaking in a tongue, let him pray that he
might interpret. 14 For if I am praying in a
tongue, my spirit is praying, but my understanding
is without fruit. 15 What then is it? I shall pray
with the spirit, and I shall also pray with the
understanding. I shall sing with the spirit, and I
shall also sing with the understanding. 16
Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how shall
he who fills up the place of the unlearned say
“Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not
know what you say? 17 For you truly give thanks
well, but the other is not built up. 18 I thank my
Elohim I speak with tongues more than you all, 19
but in an assembly I want to speak five words with
my understanding that I might instruct others
also, than ten thousand words in a tongue. 20
Brothers, do not be children in your thinking, but
in evil be babes, and in your thinking be perfect.
21 In the Torah it has been written, “With men of
other tongues and other lips I shall speak to this
people. And even so, they shall not hear Me, says
YAHUAH.” 22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to
those who believe but to unbelievers, and
prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those
who believe, by revelation, or by knowledge, or by
prophesying, or by teaching? 23 If then all the
assembly comes together in one place, and all
speak with tongues, and there come in those who
are unlearned or unbelievers, shall they not say
that you are mad? 24 But if all prophesy, and an
unbeliever or an unlearned one comes in, he is
reproved by all, he is discerned by all. 25 And so
the secrets of his heart are revealed. And so,
falling down on his face, he shall worship Elohim,
declaring that Elohim is truly among you. 26 What
then is it, brothers? Whenever you come together,
each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a
tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation.
Let all be done for upbuilding. 27 If anyone
speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the
most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.
28 And if there is no interpreter, let him be
silent in an assembly, and let him speak to
himself and to Elohim. 29 And let two or three
prophets speak, and let the others discern. 30 And
if there should be a revelation to another who
sits by, let the first be silent. 31 For you are
all able to prophesy one by one, so that all learn
and all be encouraged. 32 And the spirits of the
prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For
Elohim is not Elohim of disorder but of peace, as
in all the assemblies of the set-apart ones.
Dani'el 2:20-22:
Dani’el responded and said, “Blessed be the Name
of Elah forever and ever, for wisdom and might are
His. 21 “And He changes the times and the seasons.
He removes sovereigns and raises up sovereigns. He
gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those
who possess understanding. 22 “He reveals deep
and secret matters. He knows what is in the
darkness, and light dwells with Him.
Dani'el 11:32-35:
“And by flatteries he shall profane those who do
wrong against the covenant, but the people who
know their Elohim shall be strong, and shall act.
33 “And those of the people who have insight
shall give understanding to many. And they
shall stumble by sword and flame, by captivity and
plundering, for days. 34 “And when they stumble,
they shall be helped, a little help, but many
shall join them, by flatteries. 35 “And some of
those who have insight shall stumble, to refine
them, and to cleanse them, and to make them white,
until the time of the end, for it is still for an
appointed time.
Dani'el 12:1-13:
“Now at that time Micha’el shall stand up, the
great head who is standing over the sons of your
people. And there shall be a time of distress,
such as never was since there was a nation, until
that time. And at that time your people shall be
delivered, every one who is found written in the
book, 2 and many of those who sleep in the dust of
the earth wake up, some to everlasting life, and
some to reproaches, everlasting abhorrence. 3 “And
those who have insight shall shine like the
brightness of the expanse, and those who
lead many to righteousness like the stars
forever and ever. 4 “But you, Dani’el, hide
the words, and seal the book until the time of
the end. Many shall diligently search and
knowledge shall increase.” 5 Then I,
Dani’el, looked and saw two others standing, one
on this bank of the river and the other on that
bank. 6 And one said to the man dressed in linen,
who was above the waters of the river, “How long
until the end of these wonders?” 7 And I heard the
man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of
the river, and he held up his right hand and his
left hand to the heavens, and swore by Him who
lives forever, that it would be for a time, times,
and half a time. And when they have ended
scattering the power of the set-apart people, then
all these shall be completed. 8 And I heard, but I
did not understand, so I said, “My master, what is
the latter end of these matters?” 9 And he said,
“Go, Dani’el, for the words are hidden and
sealed till the time of the end. 10 “Many
shall be cleansed and made white, and refined. But
the wrong shall do wrong – and none of the wrong
shall understand, but those who have insight shall
understand. 11 “And from the time that which is
continual is taken away, and the abomination that
lays waste is set up, is one thousand two hundred
and ninety days. 12 “Blessed is he who is waiting
earnestly, and comes to the one thousand three
hundred and thirty-five days. 13 “But you, go your
way till the end. And rest, and arise to your lot
at the end of the days.”
We believe
that we are living in this end time that is spoken
of here in Dani'el. It is very obvious that
knowledge has been tremendously increased in the
last 50 years. These Scriptures talk about those
that will have insight. I don't think it is limited
only to the book of Dani'el, but we believe that the
deep and secret matters of other things will be
revealed.
Dani'el 2:47: The
sovereign answered Dani’el, and said, “Truly your
Elah is the Elah of elahin, the Master of
sovereigns, and a revealer of secrets, since you
were able to reveal this secret.”
Debarim 29:29:
“The secret matters belong to YAHUAH our Elohim,
but what is revealed belongs to us and to our
children forever, to do all the Words of this
Torah.
Romans 16:25-26:
And to Him who is able to establish you according
to my Tov News and the preaching of YAHUSHA
Messiah, according to the revelation of the secret
which was kept silent since times of old, 26 but
now has been made manifest, and by the prophetic
Scriptures has been made known to all nations,
according to the command of the everlasting
Elohim, for belief-obedience.
MattithYahu 13:10-13:
And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do
You speak to them in parables?” 11 And He
answering, said to them, “Because it has been
given to you to know the secrets of the reign of
YAHUAH, but to them it has not been given. 12 “For
whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and
he shall have overflowingly; but whoever does not
possess, even what he possesses shall be taken
away from him. 13 “Because of this I speak to them
in parables, because seeing they do not see, and
hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
MattithYahu 13:52:
And He said to them, “Therefore every scholar of
Scripture taught in the reign of YAHUAH is like a
householder who brings out of his treasure
matters, renewed, and old.”
We can be sure
that in these end days that there will be profound
teachings on the understanding of the Parables, also
a in depth understanding of how the Torah and the
Prophets applies to us spiritually, in other words,
the height, depth, breadth, and width of the Word.
We believe that every account of the Messiah in the
Scriptures, such as the feeding of the 5,000 and the
feeding of the 4,000, the 12 baskets, these must
have a spiritual meaning to them. We believe the
Spirit of Truth will reveal these understandings to
YAHUAH's true emissaries, and prophets, which will
be taught to others. We hope we have clearly shown
that many different tongues can be applied here in
Mark 16:17. We see here tongues are applied as
various human languages, tongues of messengers, and
that tongues are directly related to healings,
wisdom, knowledge, and prophecy for the edification
of the body.
Luke 12:8-9 “And I
say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men,
the Son of Adam shall also confess him before the
messengers of Elohim. 9 “But he that has denied Me
before men shall be denied before the messengers of
Elohim.
MattithYahu 12:36-37
“And I say to you that for every idle word men
speak, they shall give an account of it in the day
of judgment. 37 “For by your words you shall be
declared righteous, and by your words you shall be
declared unrighteous.”
Do
You Speak With Renewed Tongues?
Mark 16:18: they
shall take up snakes,
They shall take up (142)
Strong's #142: ai[rw Airo

been raised up, to bear
- to bear away what has been raised, carry off
- to move from its place

natural death, or by violence

snakes (789)
Strong's #3789: o[fiß Ophis (of'-is);
Noun Masculine,
- snake, serpent
- with the ancients, the serpent was an emblem
of cunning and wisdom. The serpent who deceived
Hawwah was regarded by the Jews as the devil.
George Went Hensley, a
preacher who had left a Pentecostal church when
it stopped embracing snake handling, is credited
with creating the first holiness church
dedicated to snake-handling in the 1920s.
Sister-churches later sprang up throughout the
Appalachian backwoods. However, the roots of the
snake-handlers can be traced further back to
strict Calvinists, who were among the early
English and Scotch-Irish settlers colonizing the
Appalachian area.
Several of the leaders
in these churches have been bitten numerous
times, as indicated by their distorted
extremities. Hensley, said to be the founder of
modern snake-handling in the Appalachian
Mountains, died from a snakebite in 1955.
Another prominent leader, a 34-year-old
evangelist, died in 1998 after being bitten by a
timber rattler at the Rock House Holiness Church
in rural northeastern Alabama. He left three
young children. Members of his family contend
that his death was likely due to a heart attack,
although his wife had died three years earlier
after a snake bite while in Kentucky. (wikipedia.com)
It seems that
some have taken this part of the Scripture on a
purely physical sense, even incorporating
snake-handling into their worship services. We don't
count out the literal meaning of this portion of the
verse; but, let us take a look at it from a
spiritual perspective to see if Yahusha was talking
more along the lines of the spiritual realm. But
before we do, we will take a look at a few accounts
of taking up snakes in a literal sense.
SHEMOTH 4:1-5:
And Mosheh answered and said, “And if they do not
believe me, nor listen to my voice, and say,
‘Yahuah has not appeared to you?’ ” 2 And Yahuah
said to him, “What is that in your hand?” And he
said, “A rod.” 3 And He said, “Throw it on the
ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and it
became a serpent. And Mosheh fled from it. 4 And
Yahuah said to Mosheh, “Reach out your hand and
take it by the tail” – so he reached out his hand
and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand – 5
so that they believe that Yahuah Elohim of their
fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of
Yitshaq, and the Elohim of Ya'aqob, has appeared
to you.”
Shemoth 7:9-12:
9“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying,‘Show a
miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to
Aharon, ‘Take your rod and throw it before
Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.’ ” 10 So
Mosheh and Aharon went in to Pharaoh, and they did
so, as Yahuah commanded. And Aharon threw his rod
before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it
became a serpent. 11 But Pharaoh also called the
wise men and the practitioners of witchcraft. And
they, the magicians of Mitsrayim, also did so with
their magic. 12 And they, each one, threw down his
rod, and they became serpents. But the rod of
Aharon swallowed up their rods.
A very interesting point that we
would like to make here is that the rod that
Mosheh had here seems to be representing the power
and authority of Yahuah. For many miracles were
done by the use of the rod. Notice also, that the
rod turned into the snake (or serpent),
which could not mean that this
serpent was evil. Pharoah, on the other hand, by
the practitioners of witchcraft, threw down their
rods and they became serpents. But of course, the
rod of Yahuah prevailed over the rods of hasatan.
Bemidbar 21:8-9 8
And Yahuah said to Mosheh, “Make a fiery serpent,
and set it on a pole. And it shall be that everyone
who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” 9
So Mosheh made a bronze serpent, and put it on a
pole. And it came to be, if a serpent had bitten
anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he
lived.
Yohanan 3:14-15
14“And as Mosheh lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so the Son of Adam has to be
lifted up, 15 so that whoever is believing in Him
should not perish but possess everlasting life.
The Scriptures
seem to be indicating Yahuah does make tov serpents
and the enemy seems to pervert what Yahuah has made
tov for his diabolical purposes. So we read in 2
Melakim 18, that Hizqiyah had to destroy the bronze
serpent:
2 Melakim 18:4 :
He took away the high places and broke the
pillars, and cut down the Asherah, and broke in
pieces the bronze serpent which Mosheh had made,
for until those days the children of Yisra’el
burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.
Romans 7:14 For
we know that the Torah is Spiritual,
Acts 28:1-6: And
having come to safety, they then learned that the
island was called Melite. 2 And the foreigners
showed us extraordinary kindness, for they kindled
a fire and received us all, because of the rain
that was falling and because of the cold. 3 But
Sha’ul, having gathered a bundle of sticks, and
having laid them on the fire, an adder came out
because of the heat, and fastened itself on his
hand. 4 And when the foreigners saw the creature
hanging from his hand, they said to each other,
“This man is certainly a murderer, whom, though
saved from the sea, still right-ruling does not
allow to live.” 5 Then, indeed, he shook off the
creature into the fire and suffered no evil. 6 And
expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall
down dead, they waited for a long time and saw no
harm come to him, changing their minds they said
that he was a mighty one.
So for those
of us that believe that Sha'ul was an honest,
upright man with Yahuah, we can see here that he did
not take up this snake as if on purpose, it seems he
didn't know the snake was there, he pulled his hand
out and it was latched on to him. Should we really
apply this account to "taking up snakes"? We will
heed Sha'ul's words in Romans 7:14. For we know that
the Torah is spiritual. So lets go back to the
beginning to set the spiritual understanding to
"taking up snakes."
BERESHITH 3:1-15 And
the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the
field which Yahuah Elohim had made, and he said to
the woman, “Is it true that Elohim has said, ‘Do not
eat of every tree of the garden’?” 2 And the woman
said to the serpent, “We are to eat of the fruit of
the trees of the garden, 3 but of the fruit of the
tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim has
said, ‘Do not eat of it, nor touch it, lest you
die.’ ” 4 And the serpent said to the woman, “You
shall certainly not die. 5 “For Elohim knows that in
the day you eat of it your eyes shall be opened, and
you shall be like Elohim, knowing tov and evil.” 6
And the woman saw that the tree was tov for food,
that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree
desirable to make one wise, and she took of its
fruit and ate. And she also gave to her husband with
her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them
were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And
they sewed fig leaves together and made loin
coverings for themselves. 8 And they heard the sound
of Yahuah Elohim walking about in the garden in the
cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid
themselves from the presence of Yahuah Elohim among
the trees of the garden. 9 And Yahuah Elohim called
unto Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 And
he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I
was afraid because I was naked, so I hid myself.” 11
And He said, “Who made you know that you were naked?
Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you
that you should not eat?” 12 And the man said, “The
woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of
the tree and I ate.” 13 And Yahuah Elohim said to
the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the
woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” 14
And Yahuah Elohim said to the serpent, “Because you
have done this, you are cursed more than all
livestock and more than every beast of the field. On
your belly you are to go, and eat dust
(06083) all the days of your life. 15 “And I
put enmity between you and the woman, and between
your seed and her Seed. He shall crush your head,
and you shall crush His heel.”
BERESHITH 2:7 And
Yahuah Elohim formed the man out of dust
(06083) from the ground, and breathed into
his nostrils breath of life. And the man became a
living being.

Yahusha explained the parable of
the Sower of the Seed:
Luke 8:10-15 And He
said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets
of the reign of Elohim, but to the rest in parables,
that ‘Seeing they do not see, and hearing they do
not understand.’11 “And this is the parable: The
seed is the word of Elohim. 12 “And those by the
wayside are the ones who hear, then the devil
comes and takes away the word from their hearts,
lest having believed, they should be saved. 13 “And
those on the rock are those who, when they hear,
receive the word with joy. And these have no root,
who believe for a while and in time of trial fall
away. 14 “And that which fell among thorns are those
who, when they have heard, go out and are choked
with worries, and riches, and pleasures of life, and
bring no fruit to perfection. 15 “And that on the
tov soil are those who, having heard the word with a
noble and tov heart, retain it, and bear fruit with
endurance.
MattithYahu 3:7
And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees
coming to his immersion, he said to them, “Brood
(1081) of adders (2191)! Who has warned you to
flee from the coming wrath?
The point that is made here
is that from the beginning the enemy, hasatan, was
commanded to "eat dust all his days", we know that
hasatan and his minions are spirit beings, so they
are not eating the physical dust of the physical
ground. The Scripture says that we are made of the
dust of the ground. The spiritual understanding of
this is that the enemy, hasatan and his minions, are
feeding on humans, or rather the spirit of the
humans. Yahusha, Himself, shows this in the parable
of the Sower and the Seed. We are to be fertile
ground for the tov seeds to be planted in, less the
enemy creeps in on us and plants the seeds of
darnel, or false doctrine. Yahusha calling us "land"
is one of many metaphors used in Scripture to
describe humans. Land takes on many different
attributes: fertile, rocky, sandy, clay, dust, tov
soil, etc.

emblem of cunning and wisdom. The serpent

as the devil.
YeshaYahu 59:2-8
But your crookednesses have separated you from
your Elohim. And your sins have hidden His face
from you, from hearing. 3 For your hands have been
defiled with blood, and your fingers with
crookedness; your lips have spoken falsehood, your
tongue mutters unrighteousness. 4 No one calls for
righteousness, and no one pleads for truth. They
trust in emptiness and speak worthlessness; they
conceive trouble and bring forth wickedness. 5
They have hatched adders’ eggs and they weave the
spider’s web. Whoever eats their eggs dies, and
when one is broken an adder is hatched. 6 Their
webs do not become garments, nor do they cover
themselves with their works. Their works are works
of wickedness, and a deed of violence is in their
hands. 7 Their feet run to evil, and they hurry to
shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts
of wickedness, wasting and ruin are in their
highways. 8 The way of peace they have not known,
and there is no right-ruling in their ways. They
have made crooked paths for themselves, whoever
treads in them shall not know peace.
Romans 3:11-18

under their lips,” 14 “Whose mouth is filled with
cursing and bitterness.” 15 “Their feet are swift

This
Scripture here is very reminiscence of Shemoth
23:23-33.
Shemoth
23:23-33 For My Messenger shall
go before you and shall bring you in to the
Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and
the Kena'anites and the Hiwwites and the
Yebusites, and I shall cut them off. 24 “Do not
bow down to their mighty ones, nor serve them,
nor do according to their works, but without
fail overthrow them and without fail break down
their pillars. 25 “And you shall serve Yahuah
your Elohim, and He shall bless your bread and
your water. And I shall remove sickness from
your midst. 26 “None shall miscarry or be barren
in your land. I shall fill the number of your
days. 27 “I shall send My fear before you, and
cause confusion among all the people to whom you
come, and make all your enemies turn their backs
to you. 28 “And I shall send hornets before you,
which shall drive out the Hiwwite, the
Kena'anite, and the Hittite from before you. 29
“I shall not drive them out from before you in
one year, lest the land become a waste and the
beast of the field become too numerous for you.
30 “Little by little I shall drive them out from
before you, until you have increased, and you
inherit the land. 31 “And I shall set your
border from the Sea of Reeds to the Sea of the
Philistines, and from the wilderness to the
River, for I shall give the inhabitants of the
land into your hand, and you shall drive them
out before you. 32 “Do not make a covenant with
them nor with their mighty ones. 33 “Let them
not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin
against Me when you serve their mighty ones,
when it becomes a snare to you.”
We must
understand that the Torah is spirit. Therefore,
we must apply these verses to ourselves in the
spirit. When we become believers in Yahusha and
make the choice to follow Torah, these
Scriptures become living and active in us. The
land that we are inheriting at this time, is our
own bodies, in the physical. To walk according
to the Torah of these verses, means that we
would drive out the inhabitants of our lands.
The land that has been given to us to reside in
as a temporary Sukkoth, or tabernacle. When we
came to be believers we were like the children
of Yisra'el coming out of Mitsrayim. We were
serving false els and bowing down to our own
idols (whatever they might be, false religion,
cares of the world, physical lusts and desires,
mammon, self, etc.) Pharaoh was the physical
analogy of hasatan, controlling us and keeping
us in his obedience to build his kingdom. When
Yahuah takes us by the hand to lead us out of
our carnal bondage to hasatan, we then encounter
the enemy's resistance. The Hittites,
Perizzites, and so on. These are unclean spirit
nations that are in our way to receive the
blessings that Yahuah has for us. If we do not
overthrow these nations we are in rebellion to
Torah. For it says "do not bow down to their
mighty ones, nor serve them, nor do according to
their works, but without fail, overthrow them,
and without fail break down their pillars." It
also says: "let them not dwell in your land,
lest they make you sin against Me when you serve
their mighty ones, when it becomes a snare to
you." Likewise in Bemidbar 33:51-56, speaking of
when they passed over the Yarden into the land
of Kena'an, this is another commandment to drive
out the inhabitants of the land, there is also a
warning, if you do not drive out the
inhabitants of the land, the ones that remain
will be pricks in your eyes and thorns in your
sides, and they shall trouble you in the land in
which you dwell.
Bemidbar
33:51-56: “Speak to the
children of Yisra’el, and say to them, ‘When you
have passed over the Yarden into the land of
Kena'an, 52 then you shall drive out all the
inhabitants of the land from before you, and
shall destroy all their engraved stones, and
shall destroy all their molded images, and lay
waste all their high places, 53 and you shall
possess the land and dwell in it, for I have
given you the land to possess. 54 ‘And you shall
divide the land by lot as an inheritance among
your clans. To the larger you give a larger
inheritance, and to the smaller you give a
smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to
anyone, that is his. You inherit according to
the tribes of your fathers. 55 ‘And if you do
not drive out the inhabitants of the land from
before you, then it shall be that those whom you
let remain shall be pricks in
your eyes and thorns in your sides,
and they shall trouble you in the land where you
dwell. 56 ‘And it shall be that I do to you as I
thought to do to them.’ ”
2
Corinthians 12:7 And to keep
me from exalting myself because of the
exceeding greatness of the revelations, a
thorn in the flesh was given to me, a
messenger of Satan to
hit me, to keep me from exalting myself
Remember
the parable of the Sower and the Seed?? "And
that which fell among thorns are those who, when
they have heard, go out and are choked with
worries, and riches, and pleasures of life and
bring no fruit to perfection."
MattithYahu
7:3-5 “And why do you look at
the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not
notice the plank in your own eye? 4 “Or how is
it that you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove
(1544) the splinter out of
your eye,’ and see, a plank is in your own eye?
5 “Hypocrite! First remove
(1544) the plank from your
own eye, and then you shall see clearly to remove
(1544) the splinter out of
your brother’s eye.
Strong's #1544: ejkbaivnw
Ekballo (ek-bal'-lo); Verb
- to cast out, drive
out, to send out
- with notion of
violence
- to drive out
(cast out)
- to cast out
- to lead one forth
or away somewhere with a force which he
cannot resist
Mark 16:17
...In My Name they shall cast out (1544)
demons,
So we can
see for certain that the parables of the Sower and
the Seed and the Splinter and the Plank are
straight out of Torah. Yahusha was showing us the
spiritual understanding of these verses. In Luke's
account of the Splinter and the Plank, He
continued on:
Luke
6:43-45 “For a tov tree does not
yield rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree yield
tov fruit. 44 “For each tree is known by its own
fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns,
nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45
“The tov man brings forth what is tov out of the
tov treasure of his heart, and the wicked man
brings forth what is wicked out of the wicked
treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of
the heart his mouth speaks.
Here again
we see a spiritual metaphor, the tov trees and the
bad trees. This is not just referring to the
humans alone, but the unclean spirits as well,
they are referred to as thorns, which come from
thorn trees, bramble bushes, etc. We are to be, as
the Scriptures say, "trees of righteousness, a
planting of Yahuah". Remember the mustard tree?
Luke
10:17-19 And the seventy returned
with joy, saying, “Master, even the demons are
subject to us in Your Name.” 18 And He said to
them, “I saw Satan falling out of the heaven as
lightning. 19 “See, I give you the authority to
trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy, and none at all shall hurt
you.

6:10-20 For the rest, my
brothers, be strong in the Master and in the
mightiness of His strength. 11 Put on the
complete armor of Elohim, for you to have power
to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12
Because we do not wrestle against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against
authorities, against the world-rulers of the
darkness of this age, against spiritual matters
of wickedness in the heavenlies. 13 Because of
this, take up the complete armor of Elohim, so
that you have power to withstand in the wicked
day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand,
then, having girded your waist with truth, and
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 and having fitted your feet with the
preparation of the Tov News of peace; 16 above
all, having taken up the shield of belief with
which you shall have power to quench all the
burning arrows of the wicked one. 17 Take also
the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim, 18 praying
at all times, with all prayer and supplication
in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and
supplication for all the set-apart ones;
2
Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan
should take advantage of us, for we are not
ignorant of his thoughts.
2
Corinthians 10:3-6: For though
we walk in the flesh, we do not fight according
to the flesh. 4 For the weapons we fight with
are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for
overthrowing strongholds, 5 overthrowing
reasonings and every high matter that exalts
itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking
captive every thought to make it obedient to the
Messiah, 6 and being ready to punish all
disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
This verse
here we must take very seriously in understanding
the enemy's efforts to deceive and to kill us. we
must realize that all the thoughts that pop into
our head are not our own. The enemy does have the
capability of broadcasting thoughts into our
heads. If we believe that Sha'ul is bringing us,
here in 2 Corinthians, the teaching of Yahusha,
then we would have to agree that if we are not
taking our thoughts captive to the obedience of
Messiah, then we are in rebellion to His words.
This is all Torah, if you understand it in the
spirit. These unclean nations are coming to
destroy us. If we allow unclean thoughts to
penetrate into our minds and they are not taken
captive (literally taking unclean spirits captive)
then they have gained entrance into our minds. If
you believe that these are your "own" thoughts,
then you have accepted them as yourself. Which
means you have opened the door to let them to come
in and dwell.
Philippians
4:7-8
And the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all
understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds
through Messiah Yahusha. 8 For the rest, brothers,
whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is
righteous, whatever is clean, whatever is lovely,
whatever is of tov report, if there is any
uprightness and if there is any praise –think
on these.
Yahusha said
to be "as wise as serpents, yet as gentle as
doves". Sha'ul said "for we are not ignorant of
his thoughts", and why wasn't Sha'ul ignorant of
his thoughts? Because he was being bombarded with
the broadcastings just like we are. The authority
in Yahusha is an amazing thing if we choose to use
it. We can lay snares and traps for the enemy, for
instance, concerning the thoughts that are
broadcasted to us by the enemy; if we speak in an
'auto-don't-receive/auto-take-into-captivity'
which simply means that the enemy's broadcastings
that come to us, to try to enter our minds, can be
taken into captivity (grabbed) before they even
enter into our minds for us to hear them in the
thought. Or the fact that the thought, which
Yahuah would allow to come into your mind, would
be automatically taken captive because you have
spoken in an operation that is continuous. In
effect, the unclean spirit that broadcasted these
thoughts to you would be immediately taken into
custody to be processed according to Yahuah's
will, which could mean various things such as,
being sent to the bottomless pit, sent to
Tartoros, sent to a refugee city, etc... where
they would no longer be able to bother humans
again, according to Yahuah's will. From
experience, this will not eliminate all of the
enemy's broadcast into our heads. Because Yahuah
wants us to be aware of what the enemy is doing.
We should be programmed in a tov way, to analyze
all the thoughts going through our own minds.
Lets look at
idols:
1
Corinthians 10:19-21 What then
do I say? That an idol is of any value? Or that
which is offered to idols is of any value? 20
No, but what the gentiles offer they offer to
demons and not to Elohim, and I do not want you
to become sharers with demons. 21 You are not
able to drink the cup of the Master and the cup
of demons, you are not able to partake of the
table of the Master and of the table of demons.
A few years back we were
prompted to take a trip to Washington, D.C., and
kind of like Sha'ul we went about the city
looking at their idols. Statues of this and
statues of that. We came across one statue that
was four sided and on each side hung a "g*d"
with their bare feet hanging roughly around
waist height. We noticed that the feet and toe
area was very very shiny, due to the fact that
people would rub the feet of these "g*ds". By
revelation, Yahuah revealed that when people
would rub these feet with their hands, they were
washing the feet of these images. Now we believe
exactly what Sha'ul said here, the idol is
nothing, so this bronze statue that we were
standing in front of was nothing but bronze
fashioned in an image. Some people read this
passage and say that an idol is nothing and
leave it at that. But, what Sha'ul said here is
what the gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to
demons. So when the people would come along and
rub the feet of these idols, it was an act of
washing the feet, similar to what we are
supposed to do with our brothers and sisters in
showing humility. Therefore, those rubbing the
feet enter in to an unspoken agreement to
receive the types of spirits that this
idol/statue was distributing. In Torah we are
commanded to break down and destroy idols. Did
Yahuah want us to take a sledgehammer and start
beating this thing? Which would be a crime which
we would have been thrown in jail for? Or did
Yahuah reveal to us exactly what Sha'ul was
speaking about, the idol is nothing, but the
demons that were flowing through this idol into
the people is the agreement that was formed
between the demonics and the people who touched
it. Well, we could not idlely stand by and allow
this to happen any longer. So in the Name of
Yahusha, and in His authority we broke down that
pillar, that idol, in the spirit. In other
words, we took into captivity and cast out of
this image all the unclean spirits that were
there to flow into the unsuspecting humans that
were walking by and being broadcasted to, "rub
it's feet", "touch the feet". We broke all the
curses that were formed by the unclean spirits
in the humans that touched them, we took into
captivity all the unclean spirits that had ever
went out through their unspoken agreement, and
we forbid any unclean demonic activity to use
this idol any more as a conduit, all in the Name
and authority of Yahusha.
Let's take another look
at the meaning of 'take up'.
Strong's #142: ai[rw Airo
(ah'-ee-ro); Verb,
- to raise up, elevate,
lift up
- to raise from the
ground, take up: stones
- to raise upwards,
elevate, lift up: the hand
- to draw up: a fish
- to take upon one's
self and carry what has been raised up, to
bear
- to bear away what has
been raised, carry off
- to move from
its place
- to take off or
away what is attached to anything
- to remove
- to carry off,
carry away with one
- to appropriate
what is taken
- to take away
from another what is his or what is
committed to him, to take by force
- to take and apply
to any use
- to take from among
the living, either by a natural death,
or by violence
- cause to cease
We can see here that these two
examples that we have given, falls right in line
with taking up snakes in the spiritual sense.
Understanding that the snake is a representation
of the serpent going clear back to the beginning
in Bereshith.
Revelation
12:9-17 And the great dragon was
thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil
and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was
thrown to the earth, and his messengers were
thrown out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice
saying in the heaven, “Now have come the
deliverance and the power and the reign of our
Elohim, and the authority of His Messiah, for the
accuser of our brothers, who accused them before
our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down. 11
“And they overcame him because of the Blood of the
Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness,
and they did not love their lives to the death. 12
“Because of this rejoice, O heavens, and you who
dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has come down to you, having
great wrath, knowing that he has little time.” 13
And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to
the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth
to the male child. 14 And the woman was given two
wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness
to her place, where she is nourished for a time
and times and half a time, from the presence of
the serpent. 15 And out of his mouth the serpent
spewed water like a river after the woman, to
cause her to be swept away by the river. 16 And
the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened
its mouth and swallowed up the river which the
dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the
dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to
fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding
the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness
of Yahusha Messiah.
Revelation
20:1-3: And I saw a messenger
coming down from the heaven, having the key to
the pit of the deep and a great chain in his
hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the serpent of
old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him
for a thousand years, 3 and he threw him into
the pit of the deep, and shut him up, and set a
seal on him, so that he should lead the nations
no more astray until the thousand years were
ended. And after that he has to be released for
a little while.

Shemoth 17:1-7 And
all the congregation of the children of Yisra’el
set out on their journey from the Wilderness of
Sin, according to the command of Yahuah, and
camped in Rephidim. And there was no water for the
people to drink. 2 Therefore the people strove
with Mosheh, and said, “Give us water to drink.”
And Mosheh said to them, “Why do you strive with
me? Why do you try Yahuah?” 3 And the people
thirsted there for water, and the people grumbled
against Mosheh, and said, “Why did you bring us
out of Mitsrayim, to kill us and our children and
our livestock with thirst?” 4 Then Mosheh cried
out to Yahuah, saying, “What am I to do with this
people? Yet a little and they shall stone me!” 5
And Yahuah said to Mosheh, “Pass over before the
people, and take with you some of the elders of
Yisra’el. And take in your hand your rod with
which you smote the river, and go. 6 “See, I am
standing before you there on the rock in Horeb.
And you shall smite the rock, and water shall come
out of it, and the people shall drink.” And Mosheh
did so before the eyes of the elders of Yisra’el.
Bemidbar 20:7-8 7 And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh,
saying, 8 “Take the rod and assemble the
congregation, you and your brother Aharon. And you
shall speak to the rock before their eyes, and it
shall give its water. And you shall bring water
for them out of the rock and give drink to the
congregation and their livestock.”
1 Corinthians 10:4 4 and all drank the same
spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual
Rock that followed, and the Rock was Messiah.
Yahuchanon 4:6-156 And Ya'aqob’s fountain was
there. So Yahusha, being wearied from the journey,
was sitting thus at the fountain. It was about the
sixth hour. 7 A woman of Shomeron came to draw
water. Yahusha said to her, “Give Me to drink.” 8
For His taught ones had gone off into the city to
buy food. 9 The woman of Shomeron therefore said
to Him, “How is it that You, being a Yehudite, ask
a drink from me, a woman of Shomeron?” For Yehudim
do not associate with Shomeronites. 10 Yahusha
answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of
Elohim, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me to
drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would
have given you living water.” 11 The woman said to
Him, “Master, You have no vessel, and the well is
deep. From where, then, do You have living water?
12 “Are You greater than our father Ya'aqob, who
gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and
his sons, and his cattle?” 13 Yahusha answered and
said to her, “Everyone drinking of this water
shall thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the
water I give him shall certainly never thirst. And
the water that I give him shall become in him a
fountain of water springing up into everlasting
life.” 15 The woman said to Him, “Master, give me
this water, so that I do not thirst, nor come here
to draw.”
MattithYahu 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and
thirst for righteousness, because they shall be
filled.
Yahuchanon 6:35 And Yahusha said to them, "I am
the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall not
get hungry at all, and he who believes in Me shall
not get thirsty at all."
Yahuchanon 7:37-38 37 And on the last day, the
great day of the festival, Yahusha stood and cried
out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to
Me, and let him who believes in Me drink. 38 “As
the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall
flow rivers of living water.”
YeshaYahu 44:3 3 ‘For I pour water on the thirsty,
and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on
your seed, and My blessing on your offspring,
YirmeYahu 2:13 13 “For My people have done two
evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of
living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns,
cracked cisterns, which do not hold water.
YirmeYahu 17:13 13 O Yahuah, the expectation of
Yisra’el, all who forsake You are put to shame.
“Those who depart from Me shall be written in the
earth, because they have forsaken Yahuah, the
fountain of living waters.”
ZekarYah 14:8 8 And in that day it shall be that

western sea, in summer as well as in winter.

Revelation 22:1, 17 And he showed me a river of
water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the
throne of Elohim and of the Lamb. 17 And the
Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And he who
hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts,
come! And he who desires it, take the water of
lifewithout paying!
Yehezqel 34:16-24 16 “I shall seek out the lost
and bring back the strayed. And I shall bind up
the broken and strengthen what was sick, but the
fat and the strong I shall destroy. I shall feed
them with right-ruling.” 17 ‘And as for you, O My
flock, thus said the Master Yahuah, “See, I am
judging between sheep and sheep, between rams and
goats. 18 “Is it not enough for you to have eaten
up the tov pasture, and the rest of your pasture
you trample with your feet. Or that you should
drink of the clear waters, and the rest you muddy
with your feet? 19 “And as for My flock, they eat
what you have trampled with your feet, and they
drink what you have muddied with your feet.” 20
‘Therefore thus said the Master Yahuah to them,
“See, I Myself shall judge between fat and lean
sheep. 21 “Because you have pushed with flank and
shoulder, and thrust at all the weak ones with
your horns, and scattered them abroad, 22
therefore I shall save My flock, and let them no
longer be a prey. And I shall judge between sheep
and sheep. 23 “And I shall raise up over them one
shepherd, My servant Dawid, and he shall feed
them. He shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24
“And I, Yahuah, shall be their Elohim, and My
servant Dawid a prince in their midst. I, Yahuah,
have spoken.
Bemidbar 5:11-31 11 And Yahuah spoke to Mosheh,
saying, 12 “Speak to the children of Yisra’el, and
say to them, ‘When any man’s wife turns aside and
has committed a trespass against him, 13 and a man
has intercourse with her, and it is hidden from
the eyes of her husband, and it is concealed that
she has defiled herself, and there was no witness
against her, nor was she caught, 14 and a spirit
of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous
of his wife who has defiled herself, or a spirit
of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous
of his wife although she has not defiled herself,
15 then the man shall bring his wife to the
priest. And he shall bring the offering for her,
one-tenth of an Ãphah of barley flour. He is not
to pour oil on it or put frankincense on it,
because it is a grain offering of jealousy, an
offering for remembering, for bringing crookedness
to remembrance. 16 ‘And the priest shall bring her
near, and shall make her stand before Yahuah. 17
‘And the priest shall take set-apart water in an
earthen vessel, and take some of the dust that is
on the floor of the Dwelling Place and put it into
the water. 18 ‘And the priest shall make the woman
stand before Yahuah, and shall uncover the woman’s
head, and put the offering for remembering in her
hands, which is the grain offering of jealousy,
while the priest holds in his hand the bitter
water that brings a curse. 19 ‘And the priest
shall make her swear, and say to the woman, “If no
man has lain with you, and if you have not turned
aside to uncleanness under your husband’s
authority, be free from this bitter water that
brings a curse. 20 “But if you have turned aside
under your husband’s authority, and if you have
defiled yourself and some man other than your
husband has lain with you” – 21 then the priest
shall make the woman swear with the oath of the
curse, and he shall say to the woman – “Yahuah
make you a curse and an oath among your people,
when Yahuah makes your thigh waste away and your
belly swell, 22 and this water that causes the
curse shall go into your inward parts, and make
your belly swell and your thigh waste away.” And
the woman shall say, “Amen, amen.” 23 ‘And the
priest shall write these curses in a book, and
shall wipe them off into the bitter water 24 and
shall make the woman drink the bitter water that
brings the curse, and the water that brings the
curse shall enter her to become bitter. 25 ‘And
the priest shall take the grain offering of
jealousy from the woman’s hand, and shall wave the
offering before Yahuah, and bring it to the altar.
26‘And the priest shall take a hand filled with
the offering, as its remembrance offering, and
burn it on the altar, and afterward make the woman
drink the water. 27 ‘And when he has made her
drink the water, then it shall be, if she has
defiled herself and has committed a trespass
against her husband, that the water that brings
the curse shall enter her and become bitter, and
her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall waste
away, and the woman shall become a curse among her
people. 28 ‘But if the woman has not defiled
herself, and is clean, then she shall be clear and
shall conceive children. 29 ‘This is the Torah of
jealousy, when a wife turns aside under her
husband’s authority and defiles herself, 30 or
when a spirit of jealousy comes upon a man, and he
becomes jealous of his wife. Then he shall make
the woman stand before Yahuah, and the priest
shall do to her all this Torah. 31 ‘And the man
shall be clear from crookedness, but the woman
bear her crookedness.’ ”
Shemoth 15:23-26 23 And they came to Marah (4785),
and they were unable to drink the waters of Marah,
for they were bitter. So the name of it was called
Marah. 24 And the people grumbled against Mosheh,
saying, “What are we to drink?” 25 Then he cried
out to Yahuah, and Yahuah showed him a tree. And
when he threw it into the waters, the waters were
made sweet. There He made a law and a rightruling
for them, and there He tried them. 26 And He said,
“If you diligently obey the voice of Yahuah your
Elohim and do what is right in His eyes, and shall
listen to His commands and shall guard all His
laws, I shall bring on you none of the diseases I
brought on the Mitsrites, for I am Yahuah who
heals you.” (Yahuah Rapha)

And the men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, the
site of this city is tov, as my master sees, but
the waters are spoilt, and the soil barren.” 20
And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in

out to the source of the water, and threw salt in
there, and said,“Thus said Yahuah, ‘I have healed
this water – no longer shall death or barrenness
come from it.’ ” 22 And the waters were healed, to
this day, according to the word of Elisha which he
spoke.

Mark 9:49-50 49 “For everyone shall be seasoned

another.”
Luke 14:34-35 34 “The salt is tov, but if the salt

Ya'aqob 3:12 12 My brothers, is a fig tree able to

fountain able to make salt and sweet water.
