getting started but I had thought that you were sharing a study from
somebody else. But I see that the credits so far belong to Maria
Merola; even copyrighted. So does that mean that somebody cannot use
this study and add their own thoughts to it and present it as their own?
Here we go –So your first question is “How does ‘Good Friday’ Discredit Our Messiah?”
The
Passover that took place on the preparation day already indicates that
it is a 6th day of the week. So it does not discredit the Messiah.
Unless you’re alluding to “fri-day” then I would agree with you.
There’s no such day on Yahuah’s calendar. What might help is if you can
find a passage in the Scripture that specifically shows a preparation
day referred to prior to a Sabbath that is not a 7th day Sabbath. IOW, a
Scripture that would show a preparation day before Yom Teru’ah or Yom
Kippurim.
The second question is “Can You Count to Three?”
The answer is yes, I can. But can you?

Maybe because that is the exact count in the Scripture: 14th, 15th,

considered the 6th day of the week. At this point let us keep in mind
that the children of Yisra’el kept the Passover on the 14th day of the
first month. The 15th day of that month was the beginning of the Feast
of Unleavened Bread in which the children of Yisra’el were delivered on
that day. Let us also keep in mind that the Messiah said:Luk 13:13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was straightened up, and praised Elohim.

13:14 But the ruler of the congregation, responding, much displeased
that יהושע had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, “There are six
days on which men should work, so come and be healed on them, and not on
the Sabbath day.”
Luk 13:15 Then the Master answered him and said,
“Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loosen his ox or his
donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

this one, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, look, for

Let us not forget also
when the children of Yisra’el were released on the Sabbath they were
also led to the Sea of Reeds which is a type of immersion in water. Luk
13:15 Then the Master answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each
one of you on the Sabbath loosen his ox or his donkey from the stall,
and lead it away to water it?
Wow,
is that not what Yahuah did? Release the children of Yisra’el from
their bondage in Mitsrayim and led them out to water them?
So
the 15th day of the month from your understanding you call it a ‘high’
Sabbath or first day of ULB. From our understanding we call it a
seventh day Sabbath and the first day of the Feast of ULB. What I am
doing here is pointing out the reality of Yahuah of releasing the
children of Yisra’el from their bondage on a Sabbath. Scriptures would
seem to indicate that Yahusha is going to come back after 2,000 years
and in the 3rd day, which would be the 7,000th year, He will raise us up
(at the beginning, not the end):Hos 6:1 ‘Come, and let us turn back to יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up.
Hos 6:2 ‘After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him.
Just
to keep in mind Yahusha is going to come and reign on the millennial
seventh day - Then Hoshea’s third day would also be the seventh day;
when Yahusha will come back and officially release us from our bondage.
We see here from the prophecy that after two days we will be revived –
after two days and ON the third day we will be raised up. This in the
millennial context a day for a 1,000 years which I believe has a direct
connection to how the Messiah was also raised up. Suffered on the 14th,
first day; in the ground on the 15th, second day; raised and ascended
ON the third day. By the way, the 16th is most commonly understood as
the day of the omer. Which would equate to the first day of the week
and that is the date given in the Scriptures that Yahusha raised. It
is commonly understood as the day of the wave sheaf.Mar
16:9 And having risen early on the first day of the week, He appeared
first to Miryam from Maḡdala, from whom He had cast out seven demons.
This
Scripture specifically says He rose early, as in morning, of the first
day of the week. So let’s see if this study concurs with this verse.

REPLY: This statement is not what the Scriptural account shows. So let us look at the verses in question.Joh 19:30 So when יהושע took the sour wine He said, “It has been accomplished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one
– the Yehudim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be
taken away.
So let’s look at the law
concerning somebody hanging on a tree to get an idea why Yahusha was to
come down off the stake “before” the High Sabbath:Deu 21:22 “And when a man has committed a sin worthy of death, then he shall be put to death and you shall hang him on a tree.

21:23 “Let his body not remain overnight on the tree, for you shall
certainly bury him the same day – for he who is hanged is accursed of
Elohim – so that you do not defile the land which יהוה your Elohim is
giving you as an inheritance.
Now
this is the law pertaining to a man that is hung on a tree. Notice the
wording very carefully: “Let his body not remain overnight on the tree,
for you shall certainly bury him the same day”. See, there’s a big
problem here because the Scriptures specifically teach that Yahusha did
not come down off the tree until evening had come. That is when Yoseph
went to Pilate. There are three witnesses to this below that evening
came BEFORE Yoseph went to Pilate to ask for the body. This means that
He was still on the stake on that evening, which would be a
transgression of the law because He would have remained on the stake
from one day to the next according to the evening to evening which is
not lawful according to the Torah. Morning to morning doesn’t have this
problem.
According to the command, if you would put this in
context you would see that a day cannot begin in the evening. Notice it
says: You cannot leave them hang over night because you will bury them
the same day. If the day begins in the evening then you could not have
somebody hung in the daylight and have them remain past evening because
it says you will bury them the same day, so if you hang them during the
daylight portion you would have them in the ground BEFORE the next day
begins in evening.
It says the body is not allowed to remain
“overnight” so the only way the body could come close to being on the
stake overnight is if one is hung after evening. There are three
eyewitnesses in the Scriptures that show that Messiah was on the stake
during the daylight portion and He was not taken down until after
evening. Which means that would have been a violation of this Torah
command – you must bury them the same day.
Joh 19:38 And
after this, Yosĕph of Ramathayim, being a taught one of יהושע, but
secretly, for fear of the Yehudim, asked Pilate that he might take the
body of יהושע, and Pilate gave permission. Therefore he came and took
the body of יהושע.
Joh 19:39 And Nakdimon, who at first came to יהושע
by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a
hundred pounds.
Joh 19:40 Then they took the body of יהושע, and bound
it in linen wrappings with the spices, as was the habit of the Yahudim
for burial.
What was the ‘habit of
the Yahudim for burial’? How long would that have taken? Maria would
suggest that there was a big hurry going on. So I guess she would just
have haphazardly wrapped the body quickly and threw it in the tomb. Is
that the habit of the Yahudim for burial? Or is the burial process a
reverent process? Maybe we can picture the Messiah being totally
covered in blood with many open wounds and dried blood everywhere – so
how long would it have taken them to prepare the body as is the habit of
the Yahudim? Wouldn’t they have taken time to clean the body and apply
the spices? What about preparing the spices? I think what should be
obvious is that they would have taken the reverent process to the body
of Yahusha. Joh 19:41 And at the place where He was
impaled there was a garden, and in the garden a fresh tomb in which no
one had yet been laid.
Joh 19:42 There, then, of the Yehudimbecause of the Preparation , they laid יהושע, because the tomb was near.
These
verses clearly show that Yoseph did not go to Pilate until evening had
come and it shows that it is still the preparation day. Might I remind
you that preparation day is always attributed to the sixth day of the
week?Mat 27:55 And many women who followed יהושע from Galil, attending Him, were there, watching from a distance,
Mat 27:56 among whom were Miryam from Magdala, and Miryam the mother of Yaʽaqoḇ and Yosĕph, and the mother of Zabdai’s sons.

Nowhere
in these accounts does it suggest that “the women were in a hurry to
anoint his body with spices because at sundown began the Sabbath.” How
do we know this? Because the women saw how the body was laid, they
weren’t going there to anoint Him, it only says they saw how the body
was laid and prepared and how the stone was rolled over. As a matter
of fact it would probably been considered improper for the women to be
cleaning and dressing the body of Yahusha. And THEN they went back and
prepared spices and perfumes. Remember, this is all taking place AFTER
EVENING. It was AFTER they prepared the spices that they rested
according to the command; which you claim is the 15th day of the month.
And it was, but the 16th day of the month according to your
understanding would have been ANOTHER preparation day, so on one hand
you say they were in a hurry and then they rested according to the
command but then there’s another preparation day (the 16th) yet they
didn’t go back to the tomb?! So how can you say they were in a hurry?
If they were in a hurry they would have surely gone on the 16th instead
of the day after the next Sabbath which you say is the 17th. We will
get back to the 16th, the day that no Scripture knows.

Yes, the Scripture does refer to that day as a Sabbath and only one
time is it referred to as a High Sabbath and you have completely built a
doctrine off of that one verse. There is nowhere in the Torah where it
calls the first or seventh day of Passover/ULB a Sabbath. So it is
your misconception that you are calling this a “high Sabbath/first day
of feast of ULB” because the Torah doesn’t and neither does the Besorah.
The Besorah refers to it as a ‘mega’ Sabbath, it was a regular 7th day
Sabbath, it is referred to as a mega Sabbath because the Feast of
Unleavened Bread begins on that day. That day is a commemoration of the
children of Yisra’el’s release from bondage. See the problem with you
taking the one verse that says mega Sabbath is that you apply that
terminology to all the other references that are made in the Besorah.
IOW, when it says and they rested on the Sabbath according to the
command it only says “Sabbath”. So what determines what a Sabbath is?
The only way we can determine if this Sabbath was a “High Sabbath”
meaning the first day of the Feast of Passover/ULB is if we let the
Torah tell us what days are considered Sabbaths and what days are not.
So out of one verse in Yahuchanon you’ve or whoever created a whole
doctrine about a “High Sabbath”. The Torah never calls the first or
seventh day of Passover/ULB a Sabbath let alone a “High Sabbath”. So
until you produce the verse from the Torah showing that the first or
seventh day of Passover/ULB are referred to as Sabbaths/rest/7676/7677
you are adding to the word, going beyond what it says, and building your
own tradition. Otherwise, produce the Scripture from the Torah. When
the eyewitness account says they “rested according to the command” we
need to be able to read the command in the Torah.

Here again your words do not fit what the account shows. What is the
best way to get an idea about Yahuah’s feast days? How about looking at
what took place to begin with? The shadow of Yahusha’s death has
always been the 14th day of the first month. The shadow plan of
Yisra’el’s release from bondage is always recognized on the 15th. So
this is where we draw our comparison. Now remember what Yahusha said
about giving release of bondage on the Sabbath and because there are no
instructions that tell us the first day of Passover/ULB is a Sabbath we
can only assume by the instructions that it was a 7th day Sabbath. If
anyone is in doubt of this, please go to the Torah and look at every
occurrence where it is talking about the first or seventh day of
Passover/ULB and you will not find any reference to it being a
Sabbath/rest/7676/7677. Now if you compare that with the Feast of
Sukkoth you will find what is referred to as the first and eighth day
are referred to as a Sabbath/rest/7677. So again, anybody that calls it
a Sabbath is not using Scripture to back up what they are saying and
their foundation is sand. So when we understand that Yisra’el was
released from their bondage on the Sabbath then we will understand what
Yahusha was talking to them about, we will also understand that the 15th
day of the month when they were released was indeed a 7th day Sabbath.
Types and shadows. 14, 15, 16. 14 – Passover, 15th mega 7th day
Sabbath, 16th wave omer. There is no other progression of these days
other than that. In like manner as shown in Hoshea after two days on
the third = the 7th day of the millennial period. The millennial day we
will be released from our bondage, at the beginning – not the end.

the impalement accounts in the Besorah to show the timeline of the
**13th day of the month** when Yahusha told the emissaries to go and
prepare, the **14th day of the month**, which was Passover, the day He
was impaled, the **15th day of the month** your so-called high Sabbath –
first day in the grave, the **16th day of the month** which would be
your second preparation day, the **17th day of the month** which you
claim to be the 7th day of the week at which Yahusha raised at the end

of the week, first fruits.

You are insisting that what He said must be what you conclude otherwise
He’s a liar. Okay, so let’s compare here. How many times did Yahusha
give the sign/parable of Yonah; as in three days and three nights?
Once. We need to understand that the sign that was given was number one
given to an adulterous and wicked generation that seeks after a sign
and number two the sign is a parable, number three Yahusha said those
who are on the outside would not understand the parables. So let’s look
at it again:Mat 12:38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from You.”

what Yahusha said that all things were spoken in parables but they
would not understand. So here is a plain truth. The understanding of
Yonah could be mistaken. In other words, whatever the Yahudim were
trying to figure out what He meant, they would not understand it. Mat 13:10 And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

How would these witnesses have known that
He was suggesting He would be in the grave until, after, among three
days? It could have been for two reasons. Number one – when He told
the parable they figured He was saying He would be in the grave for
three days and three nights and that is what they set the watch to.
Number two – Yahusha told the Pharisees:Joh 2:18 And the Yehuḏim answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show to us, since You are doing these?”

is clearly reflecting IN the third day not at the end of or after. It

This
verse specifically shows that the Miryams waiting until the first day
of the week at early dawn to come to the tomb bringing the spices which
they prepared before they rested the Sabbath according to the command.
Which begs the question again – if they were in such a ‘hurry’ why
didn’t they go at early evening instead of early dawn? Which clearly by
definition means ‘early morning’. Luk 24:2 and they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

Now I don’t know if any of you have ever
noticed this, but on one hand you claim that Yahusha was raised up at
the end of the 7th day Sabbath that was before the evening beginning the
18th, you claim that the end of that Sabbath was the end of the three
days and three nights, but yet the guards were still there on first day
morning. Which means the guards would have been there 3.5 days from the
beginning of your Sabbath in the evening. IOW, if they were counting
the three days and three nights they would have started with the evening
beginning your Sabbath which would have ended at the end of your 7th
day Sabbath. This would have been the completion of three days and
three nights, but yet they were there in the morning of the first day of
the week; which according to your calculations would have been 3.5
days. Technically they should have told the guards to stay there until
the morning of the fourth day. Now of course, you have a controversy
with the road to Amma’us and you can go and check the wording and find
that it is a different terminology. Where do we find the Messiah
Himself saying that He would spend three days and three nights in the
grave; other than the assumed understanding of the Yonah sign/parable?

can see from Yahusha’s words that He would rise from the dead THE third
day - the, this, that – third day. Nowhere in Yahusha’s own words does
He imply three days and three nights nor does He imply at the END of
the third day.
Here’s something else to consider concerning Yahusha raising at the end/on the 7th day Sabbath. According to the Scriptures:Mat

the early morning. They started their journey to the tomb early in the

This
verse shows that when they came unto the sepulcher it was at the rising
of the sun, so as the Sabbath was ending at the beginning of morning
after the commanded rest they saw the glow of morning on the horizon,
that is when they left to go to the tomb. By the time they got to the
tomb it was at the rising of the sun. Again, every account shows that
the Miryams waited until morning to go to the tomb but I believe you
will try to use the word “dawning” to say that the first day of the week
was ‘dawning in the evening’ as a metaphor for the day was dawning.
Something like a thought just dawned on me or occurred. So what you
would be doing is using an English idiom to explain what the growing of
light means – the growing of the next day. Again, this is an English
idiom not Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek.

Can you prove that? See here we go, you really ought to quote the
verses you are talking about. This is some of the problem I see, people
are too willing to listen to what somebody is saying that is not using
Scripture to back up what they say. As also is becoming glaringly
obvious. So when you tell people the day begins in the evening you can
be sure to tell them the “Scriptures say an evening and a morning are
one day” instead of telling them what the Scriptures actually say; which
is “became evening and became morning”. See it’s a very simple
controversy here. You would believe Yahuah for six days in a row was
giving us what a day consists of, in other words, an evening and a
morning that is one day. Now on the other hand I would argue that
Yahuah is showing us the progression of the day. In other words, Yahuah
said, “Let there be light” He separated the light from the darkness
which is the evening and the morning and He saw what He did, and then
came evening and then came morning, the first day was over. But in your
understanding there is a failure in understanding how and where the
word “hayah” is placed. I mean, think about it. Did Yahuah make Adam
and Hawwah that stupid or anyone else that stupid that He would have to
repeat day after day what a day consists of. “I just have to pound this
in their heads, they won’t understand” and then the question comes, why
didn’t He say this on the 7th day? Did He forget? How about let’s
look at the simplicity of it. All Yahuah was doing was showing us the
order in which it happened. He did what He did that day, then came
evening, then came morning, the first, second, third, fourth, fifth,
sixth… then He didn’t say it on the 7th. Why not? Did He forget too?
Or maybe it’s because the rest didn’t end when evening came. IOW, He
didn’t have to say then came evening and then came morning because He
didn’t stop resting. Which is also a great way to show that really the
Shabbat should be kept the whole day and not just the daylight portion.

and evening and a morning is a day…. How do you get that? I mean
really, I’d like to hear an explanation to this… Okay, evening begins
when the sun goes down, morning ends when the sun comes up – how do you
get a whole day out of that? An evening and a morning are what a day
consists of??? Or would you say evening covers the time from sundown to
morning and morning covers the time from morning to sunset? Wait a
minute…. He just gave us the definition – the light is day, the
darkness is night. But now you want to make the evening last throughout
the night and morning to last throughout the day? Let’s just stick
with Yahuah’s definition of light/day and darkness/night.
Here’s
something else you may not have considered, if evening begins the day
then where was the evening in the creation account? There was no
evening until Yahuah said let there be light. Darkness was on the face
of the deep, not evening. Truly, if you were going to be faithful to
the Genesis account shouldn’t you begin your day at night? Apparently,
what you do not realize is when the darkness was on the face of the deep
that was the end of an age, a yom and the next one began with light as
the increasing of the light portions begin the year so also does the
increasing of the light portion begins the month, so also does the light
portion increasing over the dark begin the day. These three are in
unity. But NooOOooo the day begins in the evening instead of beginning
at night (or in the morning where it is properly placed). I suggest you
do some studies on this, look into what the Talmud says, look into what
the gnostics teach – maybe that will shed some light on the popular
custom of beginning the day in the evening. Please people – do not stop
at Christmas and easter and think the next person that feeds you is
going to be feeding you the pure truth.

the fourth beast is ROME and the whore that rides the beast (Rome) is

This is
similar to what you did before. You started talking about how the day
was changed from in the evening to the middle of the night, not
considering that it had already been changed from the morning to the
evening. In the same manner you have assumed because the Catholics
“changed the day of worship” – which they really didn’t the beast only
THINKS to change times and laws - from “sun-day” to “Saturn-day” that
you have it all figured out. Not considering that it had already been
changed/hidden before.
In other words, it’s not only prophesied
in Dani’el that this 4th beast, Rome, that would think to change times
and seasons, but there is also a lamentation that says:Lam
2:5 יהוה has been like an enemy. He has swallowed up Yisra’ĕl, He has
swallowed up all her palaces, He has destroyed her strongholds. And He
increases mourning and lamentation In the daughter of Yehudah.

place of meeting. יהוה has made the appointed times and Sabbaths To be
forgotten in Tsiyon, And despises sovereign and priest In His raging
displeasure.
Lam 2:7 יהוה has cast off His altar, He has rejected His
set-apart place, He has delivered the walls of her palaces Into the
hand of the enemy. They have made a noise in the House of יהוה As on the
day of an appointed time.
Lam 2:8 יהוה has planned to destroy The
wall of the daughter of Tsiyon. He has stretched out a line. He has not
turned back His hand from destroying. And He has made the rampart and
wall to lament; Together they have languished.
As
we can see here Yahuah caused the Sabbaths to be forgotten in Tsiyon.
When did this take place? Could it be 70 c.e. when the temple was
destroyed? Is there any indication in this lamentation? Yahusha said:Mat
24:1 And going out, יהושע went away from the Set-apart Place, and His
taught ones came near to point out to Him the buildings of the Set-apart
Place.
Mat 24:2 And יהושע said to them, “Do you not see all these?
Truly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, at
all, which shall not be thrown down.”
Mar 13:1 And as He went
out of the Set-apart Place, one of His taught ones said to Him,
“Teacher, see what stones! And what buildings!”

answering, said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone
shall be left upon another at all, which shall not be thrown down.

Yahusha just prophesied about 70c.e. and as we know there are some
stones still standing. The wailing wall; which we read about in
Lamentations. Did you notice that He left a wall for wailing? Did you
also notice that He said He would destroy the wall of the daughter of
Tsiyon? **note: I find it interesting as some have referred to you as
the daughter of Tsiyon. So these Scriptures would definitely give us
some understanding that there is a great possibility that the
lamentation was for the temple that was going to be destroyed in 70 c.e.
by the ROMANS. So why did Yahuah allow the temple to be destroyed?
Did He not say He was going to cause His appointed times and Sabbaths to
be forgotten? But yet they claim they keep track of the Sabbaths clear
back to Yahusha’s day. One thing I’d like to see you produce is the
documentation that shows when, where, and how Yahuah caused the
appointed times and Sabbaths to be forgotten and exactly when were they
remembered. Not only that if the Yahudim were keeping the true 7-day
count as you claim then where in history do we find the Romans adopting
the Yahudim’s 7-day count? The truth is the 7th day Sabbath as known on
the Gregorian calendar is a wide street, it is not the ancient path.

children of Yisra’ĕl. Speak to them, saying, ‘Between the evenings you
are to eat meat, and in the morning you are to be satisfied with bread.
And you shall know that I am יהוה your Elohim.’ ”
Exo 16:13 And it came to be that quails came up and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp.
These
Scriptures are irrefutable proof that ‘between the evenings’ comes
after the going down of the sun, the ‘bo’; you will kill the lamb in the
midst of the evening after the going down of the sun.. you see that?
The quails came up AT evening and then they were eaten BETWEEN the
evenings. Or more properly put; in the midst of the evening.
Christmas, easter, and Halloween is just the tip of the iceberg people.

one Sabbath going into another, so I don’t think you want to take that
road.Exo 34:21 “Six days you work, but on the seventh day you rest – in plowing time and in harvest you rest.
According
to the command you rest on the Sabbath day both in sowing and reaping.
You think that’s why the omer was brought on the first day of the week?
The morrow after the Sabbath? The question is would we expect Yahusha
to follow this order? According to your understanding He does not fit
the instructions concerning the wave omer nor does He fit the
instructions of being put in the earth, the mouth of the grave, that
night as you claim He was put in the evening, which does not coincide
with Passover instructions. Besides that you would also have Him
raised up on the Sabbath being “the third day” and then ascending on the
next day which you would have to consider the “fourth day” so His
rising from the dead and His ascension didn’t even take place on the
same day?? But as the verse shows He was raised and if you
cross-reference the word “raise” you will find that is what He referred
to when He said, “I will rise the third day”.
As we can see
everything that you are trying to teach was only taught from your
perspective without one Scripture being produced to validate your
understanding.
